When you're planning your next adventure along the trails or your go-to campgrounds, choose The North Face Stormbreak 3 Tent. With an easy to set-up design that's backed with durable construction, this tent features a fully seam-taped canopy and floor while the high-low ventilation for breathability and water-resistant finish keep you dry and comfortable for many seasons ahead. With a two-door entryway and abundant headroom, you can comfortably fit three people in this tent for any outdoor adventure. Take on your next adventure with a tent you can trust and rely on.
The good side: the tent is easy to set up, four internal pockets in the corners, rain-fly doors have two open settings (half and full), fly covers the tent well, there is a vestibule for each door.
The bad side: this tent barely fits two people, it does not truly fit anybody six feet tall (like myself), the dimensions do not reflect internal room (85" length is, in reality, barely 72"), each fly door has two zippers (must open both zippers to get in/out).
If you can sleep on a backpacker's pad, a six-foot person should fit in this tent. However, I put a full-size air mattress under the tent (I'm all muscle and need the deep mattress), which reduces the internal space. When I climbed in for a test, my head and feet were touching the walls. With my extra long bag, that becomes a serious condensation issue.
If you're under 5'8", this should be a good tent for you. If you're buying it for three small children, it would work. If you are tall (6' or more), don't bother.
I like the tent, but I'll probably exchange it tomorrow for a longer version. I'm very happy that I set it up in my garage two weeks before taking it camping. I now have the chance to fix my mistake by buying a larger tent.
