She was getting jealous of our sun shirts and board shorts so I got her a couple of these sun guard shirts. They're stretchy and keep their shape when wet, and my kiddo likes them. We love the sun protection. Since they're meant to be snug, I sized up one for her and they're a tiny bit roomy without being baggy. Our family is constantly out on the water in the summer, and this shirt is the go-to for our son. He has sensitive skin, so we like to avoid applying tons of sunscreen all over him. With this shirt, we put sunscreen on his face, neck, and the backs of his hands, and we are all set! No worries and no burns! The shirts can be warm if worn snuggly, but they are very cool when wet. No danger of over-heating. They do run small, so be prepared to size up when you order. We originally received this shirt as a gift for our then 18-month-old son. He was given a 3T (the gifter hoping he could grow into it), and it fit him immediately. This year, I purchased a 4T for my now two-and-a-half-year-old due to the previous sizing experience, and it fits him perfectly (He wears 3T in t-shirts). We highly recommend this product to anyone having fun in the sun!
