Range is great, in Turbo mode I can still get 20 miles of range which is plenty on singletrack. Most rides are in mid range, which I will tire out before the bike does. The overall package is near perfect. My bike is a L size and ready to ride weighed in a 44 lbs, which is 10 lbs heavier than my EX8 gen 6. With even minimum assist the extra weight is hardly noticeable. The bike hops, jumps, wheelies and corners very well with the main mass very low, it feels like it's more planted than the non Ebike counterpart. The Fox suspension dialed in perfect for me using data from Trek's website. Drivetrain is very smooth, tire and wheel package work very well.
