The device presents little issues in changing an individuals original cheek weld maybe a 1/2 inch - 1 inch further back. That said, you lose no coverage in the FOV and are presented with a picture just as clear as if looking through your scope regularly. I love to record my long distance sessions and learn from any misses I was unable to spot during the moment.
