The thumb release has a fair amount of movement before the shot goes off. Which is the only reason I went with the B3Exit4. For learning with a thumb release, you can't beat this TruFire. I have heard horror stories of pre-fire's with this release, which is a cause of the jaw spring wearing out and causing a fire before fully drawn. So far I've tested it out thoroughly and haven't had any of that happen. The release is The Most Comfortable in the hand with no pinch points or uncomfortable positions. The adjustability is none, there is screws you can loosen that say it adjusts jaw tension, but that is untrue. They are set screws and that's it. Overall it is a decent release.
