They definitely bust up the target more than a standard 2.75 inch shell. So clearly they have more shot and impact.\n\nBUT... be prepared for likely should bruising. Not only do these kick a lot more than 2.75 inch shells, but they deliver a very sharp, knife-like kick.\nI even have 2 shock pads--one on the butt of my shotgun plus a Shockeater shirt with integrated recoil pad, and I still had mild bruising after only half a box of the Migra on the skeet range.
