So when they came out with this grease gun I waited for a while but then purchased one. However as much as I liked the tool and how well it worked initially ...(Cut down my equipment lube time by at least 50%) ....but after only running two tubes of grease thru it, when I went to load the third cartridge what held the tube assembly #30060205 together let go and the spring and everything with it came flying out of the tube across my shop. It appears that whatever was supposed to hold the spring in let go. I assumed this would be a simple fix for them to just replace that part but when sent in for warranty repair the claim was denied. The only complaint I have is the batteries, I think a better job could be done on the quality, and life of the batteries on both the M18 and the M12 batteries. For example: the 12 amp/hr M18 battery only lasts about 30 minutes in the weed eater, the 5 amp/hr M18 battery lasts about 20 minutes in the Mid torque impact wrench, the 3 amp/hr M12 battery lasts about 10 minutes in the die grinder. And I usually only get about 3 years of use out of the batteries. I have repacked bearings on my boat trailer, 5th wheel trailer, utility trailer and it makes the process so much faster, especially with Bearing Buddy type set-ups. You can literally push an entire tube through a bearing buddy in less than a minute, replacing the old grease with new. I also love the feature that allows you to control how much output when you just want to add a little to a vehicle joint, etc. Above all, it just makes for a much cleaner process as traditional grease guns can get pretty messy.
