The included base sits at a good height for co-witness. Flip up caps keep the dirt out. Works really well and stays on zero. My only complaint is with a red dot this large they should have magnification built in. I had to add a magnifier, which these guns start getting heavy with all of the accessories, to shoot out to 200 plus.
