The new Elemnt Bolt caught my eye as offering everything I needed at good price and get away from Garmin's buggy software. I have speed sensor, power meter, heart rare monitor and Varia radar unit hooked up. The beep from the Elemnt for the Varia radar needs to be louder. I rely on the Elemnt for vehicle position but my audible beeps through \"ride with gps' and a bluetooth earbud. Works great, I need to find a better fitting earbud or maybe get a bluetooth helmet. I am farsighted and even reading a larger unit like the Garmin was a problem at times. The Elemnt was worse. The color coded heart rate info was great you really did not need to read an exact number. To read everything else I bought the $12.00 \"sticky bifocal lense inserts' for my cycling glasses. Amazing I can clearly read all fields. I bought a pair of bifocal cycling glasses with photo grey lenses. I am curious to see how that compares to the inserts. For you younger riders, if age is not an issue it soon will be. This is a great unit and a keeper. Being able to hear the audible beep for radar is crucial and if you can not read the display what good is it? I have found a workaround for both and now have a,unit that a accurately tracks for my wife where I am at on the rides. So far battery life matches what is advertised. I love the lightweight.
