NO WHERE on the website does it say this. \r\nI've contacted walker, and it turns out i'm one day past the thirty day return window. My first complaint is that they're not rechargeable(change batteries after about 24hrs of run time). BT sounds clear but the bass kinda sucks you can barely hear it. I also noticed a good amount of chopping in the audio from the BT connection which is a bit of a problem not because it does 2 to 3 chops a min but the fact that my 4 year old soundcore lifenot ear buds that I have had for 4 years now dont chop AT ALL untill I go about 3 feet away but yet these chop just from my head down to my phone in my back pocket which is about a foot. Over all the protection part is great haven't had any problems with the protection part. Ive mowed weedeated and listened to my big diesel truck rev and still no problems. Andy only problem with the pass through mode is the wind it picks up the wind so easily making it get a little loud at time. One of them from 2018 and another from 2019. It is great to be able to listen to music or a book while I work. I've used these for shooting, mowing and edging, and any time I need hearing protection. They hold up pretty well, but I've had the following failures: 1) As you can see in my picture the post that keeps the headband onto the cup sheered off. Walker should be able to fix this in future designs because my dad has muffs from being in the Navy and they still work perfectly with no breakages. 2) the rubber cover for the bluetooth button is wearing out. It looks like they changed the design to try and fix this. We will see. 3) The ear pads wore out by becoming flat. The pictures do not reflect this because I bought replacements just before they broke. If they do wear out the protection does become poor so make sure to order replacements when this happens. \r\n\r\nThings I would note, but not consider failures is that 1) the speakers do get weaker over time. This can be helped by changing the cups when the start to get flat, but they are noticeably quieter. I can still hear my books. 2) The muffs can eat through batteries. Though I occasionally left them on, but this has been fixed on some models with an auto shut off feature.\r\n\r\nAll in all I would hands down recommend these muffs if you want good, thin protection with bluetooth to listen to audio and microphone features so you don't have to constantly take them off to hear people. Despite my concerns I have worked these muffs pretty hard (as much as ~24 hours in a week) and would not let my concerns stop you from buying.
