I use them 8- 24 hrs a week at the range avg about 18 hrs a week. They work great. All but large caliber rifles will be comfortable around. I’m typically within 5-7 feet (&90*)of another shooters muzzle. I have used the walker slim\nModel with the volume knob on the earmuff itself and these are far superior. I read some other reviews on here about “missing a feature” and on “plane rides” or “while cutting the grass” lol these are for shooting and not airplane rides. Not being able to hear “voices” would make these a liability on the range. It’s like buying a jeep and complaining it doesn’t handle the corners at 125. These aren’t made or designed for plane rides. These are meant to be durable shooting sports ear protection and I think they excel (see what I did there) at that. I bang these around and put some hours on them and I’ve been happy. I dont need customer support or instructions as they’re pretty straightforward to use. It’s like you have a bionic ear until shots start popping off then it quites down and quickly regains normal voice level hearing after the firing stops I recommend these to a lot of members and they seem to like these as well. I do upgrade the ear pads though as the ones that come with aren’t as flexible as I would like. I get the gel ear pads from an amazing online seller for cheap and they are super comfortable to wear all day. If your in a range side by side with other shooters these will work great up to like 308 after that I’d recommend using foam ear plugs as well. It even says they contacted CSR. NOT TRUE. If you look at the head band controls that are side facing or facing to the left vs to the back of your headband when wearing them. Those controls take care of the sound boosting tech and all your menu functions related to sound dampening. The buttons facing back on the thin edge of the headband controls all your Bluetooth connected controls for Bluetooth volume which can also be controlled from your Bluetooth connected device. Headband is a little tight if you have a big melon head but it also gives a great ear cup seal to lock out and protect your ears from dangerous noise levels. I've use them all the time at the range and also at work in loud mechanical rooms. Product support is lacking","text":"They work good for hearing protection at the range, but when I upgraded my phone I can't connect to it with blue tooth, which is why I bought these. I have not been able to find the user guide for them and I can't find it at the manufacturer's website. Product support of this kind is not good as other manufacturers have much better support for discontinued products. Bluetooth works flawlessly and you can ABSOLUTELY use the Bluetooth functionality with noise cancelling, just turn the volume on the headset down to disable the pass through mics. \r\n\r\nI use these for just about everything.
