First off be aware Higdon does not help with any issues I was referred to the owner and dealt with him for my issues , which we are currently resolving. Some issues I encountered - first was putting the hose on coupling - took me over two hours as too tight. Second - I was sent wrong sized hose clamps. Six inches will NOT work with heavy duty hose and coupler. I had to go buy larger clamps before I could use pump. Lastly just as I am setting pump up in water with fuel ring I go to attach the fuel ring line to the marine fitting and it breaks and falls off (female part spring and all falls out) so this fitting was defective. I was able to use pump without using the fuel ring but had to refuel every hour which well was a hassle. The pump ran fine as expected so no issues there once set up. I do like the heavy hose versus other I used in past seems to hold up better. . With that said our head rise from our lake to our hunting hole was only about 8 feet high but we did pump water over 600 feet to our hole.
