"Full Description:\nThrough years of innovation and testing, the Model 307 action features a bolt that was designed to have a tool-less disassembly which allows hunters and shooters to easily field strip their bolt if needed. The bolt is equipped with an M16-style extractor for positive extraction and reliable ejection. The Alpine CT comes standard with an externally adjustable TriggerTech field trigger and PEAK 44 picatinny rail. Weighing in at just 24 ounces, the Peak 44™ Bastion stock is the lightest production, vertical grip carbon fiber stock on the market. It features a comfortable ambidextrous palm swell and a substantial thumb groove to promote proper form while shooting. The forend features dual sling studs to allow the shooter multiple options when deciding on accessories. This upgraded stock allows shooters to comfortably and accurately shoot from all positions at the range and in the field. In the Alpine CT lines, the BSF barrel is threaded and comes with the all new directional self-timing brake. The receiver and muzzle brake are coated in a durable Cerakote® and the carbon fiber stock is hand-painted. Available in standard short and long actions, the Alpine CT not only offers some of Weatherby’s historic magnum cartridges but is also available in some of the most popular cartridges on the market.
