Unfortunately this press is not something that would work safely on some of the older BowTech bows like the invasion cpx, or any bow with external limb axles. I suppose with two people you might be able to CAREFULLY hold the limb brackets of this press in place while SLOWLY pressing, but I would never attempt after trying to use this press. I literally got one ratchet click into the process and became so nervous that either I or the bow were going to get hurt that I disassembled and sent it back, …. And no questions asked by scheels and they paid for the return. The press is of decent quality but just not safe in my opinion.
