Unfortunately, it is limited to 65 in-lbs. I needed 80 in-lbs for Sako ring mounts, so I bought this one. The handle is horrible. It does not allow my hand to impart much torque over 65 in-lbs. The original has a great ergonomic handle. This one is the opposite. Also, this one does not have a slip clutch. The base screws were to be tightened between 45-50 inch lbs. Set to 46.5 to start. Once screws were just at the point of seated, tool began beeping like crazy with 70lb readings. I figure this was just applied toque and not the seat. It took some elbow grease, but it eventually broke over. Move along to the rings which called for 15-18 inch lbs. Started with 15.5. Things began getting a little tighter than I felt 15.5 inch pounds should feel, so I reset and started over. Things still felt a bit tight so I moved to the next screw which snapped. At this point I was worried, and began removing everything. During removal, the T-20 tip snapped. I luckily had another. Worked like a charm. Since then, it sat in it's case for about 6 months before I needed it again. Got it out to use it and it wouldn't turn on. Thought maybe the battery was dead so I put a new one in and still wouldn't turn on. I checked both the old battery and the new one and both batteries were good. Torque wrench did in fact quit working which really sucks for a somewhat pricey tool. The only complaint I have is, the tiny piezo speaker that suppoed to be heard when you reach the desired torque setting can only be heard by children with perfect hearing. Wheeler should know that the majority of people that buy these are going to be older people and probably avid shooters with some hearing lose. With that being said, this is a nice torque wrench and I would recommend it to other people.
