My boyfriend was cleaning out the gun safe and had one of these bullets in his hand, mind you the gun is no where around, when KAPOW!!! The bullet went off, traveled across the room, through the closet door and through the cloths hanging in the closet. Thank the lord no one was injured in this freak accident. There’s no reason for the loose bullet to have gone off. It was not dropped pinched or banged on anything and again was no where near the firearm. We no longer feel safe using this ammo for anything. We found the 3 slugs and 10 out of 12 pellets along with the tan piece that sets inside the cartridge. We can not find the black cartridge or 2 pellets. This could’ve been very deadly. We would like to know how this bullet spontaneously combusted.
