This bra provides the best shape I've ever had with a sports bra. All others have smashed / flattened my breasts. This bra provides a high level of support while allowing them to retain their shape. I purchased a 32D pre pregnancy and loved it. Since becoming pregnant, I upgraded to a DD and wear it all the time as my regular bra as it provides enough support to minimize pain for my very sensitive breasts. One thing to note is the band is very tight and was uncomfortable at first! I've stetched it slightly / grown accustomed to it and now can wear it without discomfort.
I love, love, love this bra! I used to wear the Juno, and I still have a bunch of those that I love, but I think I'll stick to buying this one in the future. I find the support level pretty similar to the Juno, but this bra is less expensive, and more comfortable for all-day wear. I love a bra that I can run in, and also wear on a day-to-day basis. Plus, it is super cute and can be worn on its own (which cannot be said for many bras in the DD+ range). I also like that there is modest padding (and no removable cups), so that I don't get headlights. Thank you Brooks for making more bras for us busty girls! If only this came in a chlorine-resistant fabric, all of my life problems would be solved!
Finding a sports bra for DD sizes is often a choice between between stiff underwire bras and painfully tight compression styles. The Uphold is different, striking a nice balance before comfort and support. At first I was hesitate about running in a bra described as Medium Impact, but I found that this one offers more support than many "High Impact" bras. It doesn't completely eliminate bounce, but it keeps things toned down so that I'm not uncomfortable or self conscious during my workout. I love the wide straps and breatheable fabric!
I purchased this particular sport bra by mistake....thought I clicked "uplift"... but after trying it on was very impressed how it felt. I think I'm really in between the 2 for size.( 32D) Love this........ But right after I ordered ( by days) went on sale for . Almost half! How can I be alerted to a sale?
I love this bra! I'm a full 32DD and purchased a small. I love the uphold crossback just as much as I loved the uplift crossback when I was a different size. I would rate this between medium and high support. Nothing is adjustable, but it fit as-is on me, no problem! There is a little movement while running, but it's not uncomfortable and I still feel like I can breathe easily. This bra has stood up during long, very sweaty Florida runs without any chafing. Thank you Brooks for making this bra in DD/E!!
I got this as a gift and I will say, I want to wear it daily. My typical day to day bras are a 36DD but with Brooks I always wear a 38DD. This fits great without being too tight where your little bit of back fat shows. This is smooth and just overall great.
Absolutely fantastic. This is probably the best sports bra I've ever owned. It's a bit of a trick to put on, and I miss having a bit more separation; those are my only criticisms. It's super comfortable, and supportive without feeling constricted at all. I love the slightly stretchy straps, and the slide clasp. My shoulders feel so free during weight training and cardio. I own this one in the beautiful cherry red, and the gorgeous blue. I'm considering picking up a third.
I love this sports bra so much! I was apprehensive about purchasing it because I have a larger chest (32D) and only ever wear the original Juno. After they updated the Juno, I didn't want to buy it because the reviews weren't great, so I tried this one instead and I love it SO MUCH. Even more than the original Juno. Even though it doesn't come in bra sizes, the small fits perfectly. I love that they did away with the traditional bra clasp, like what my Juno's have, because that caused so much chafing. As a side note, I did end up trying a new Juno and it's great too! But this one is better AND less expensive! Snag a bunch before they catch on and raise the price! It's so supportive and so comfortable. I already have 3.
I have been waiting months for this new bra to come out, since Runners World did a sneak peak of it at an expo last year. Mostly super excited about a sports bra with us larger cup gals in mind. Took it out on it's maiden voyage today, so here we go. For starters I am a 40DD, so I got the XL since that is the closest thing the attached size chart recommends. The straps are not adjustable nor is the crossback part fixed in place, so getting it on is not the smoothest operation. Once it is on however, things felt so amazing, honestly I felt as if I had high impact Juno on, not a new one rated at Medium impact. Since I also had new shoes the first wearing was for a slow 2 miles, but at no point in that time did I have to adjust anything up top! And now the part that every women who has ever sweated while wearing a sports bra will love, this is seriously the easiest bra in the world to take off, hands down. I do feel like I may return this and size up, the sizing chart doesn't cover the XXL and I feel like I should have gotten that one.
Although it is classified as a medium-impact, it provides more support than any of the high-impact bras that I have tried that cost more than twice the price. I have had the hardest time finding a high-impact sports bra that provides adequate support for running, easy closure, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. One of the best features of the Uphold Crossback is the easy on and off with the J hook closure. Most high-impact bras have hook and eye closures which are difficult to put on especially with a racer back design or look too much like a regular bra that it feels awkward to wear without a shirt or just lack the style that low and medium impact bras have. The Uphold is also very comfortable, does not cause me to chafe or dig into my skin. I can't wait until more colors and designs are released so that I can finally stop doubling up on sports bras. Please make all of the fun colors and designs that the Uplift has :)
