Wasn't expecting a ton of support but the adustable hook back adds ALL the support I could imagine (where we get most of our support from bras) love the adjustable straps as well, especially since I'm on the bigger end of this size. It's hard to find s/m/l bras that work since I have such a small band size but bigger cup size and this worked perfect!
I've been looking for the "perfect" sports bra forever, and this is the best one I've found so far! My previous favorite was the Rebound Racer; this bra is MUCH more comfortable and much easier to get on and off, and I'd say it's equally supportive (though I'm only a 32B). I only have two complaints: I don't love the look of the mesh (it gapes/puckers a bit around the top edge, but it's not uncomfortable), and the straps seem to have stretched a bit with wear-- I have a short torso and I'm nearing the shortest possible strap length (after about six months of frequent use). I think the price of this bra is very reasonable compared to other bras with similar features!
Adjustable straps are critical to me as my torso is a bit short but I have enough 'going on' 'average' straps are too long and leave me 'jigglen and wiggelen': not my fave feeling on a run. This bra captures everything, and has a bit of personality with the mesh. If you want a really 'smooth' look, the mesh seam is visible under a top that isn't low cut but that doesn't concern me.
I am very picky especially with sports bra because I want support but I dont like the tight feel around my chest. This bra has it all. Very comfortable with a lot of support and the straps are adjustable.
This bra is wonderful! It fits really well and is extremely comfortable for running. (5'7", 135lbs, A cup) My favorite part is the adjustable clasp in the back. It makes life so much easier to take off when super sweaty! I have two and want another!
I use this bra to run in and also for the gym and bootcamp. It offers great support. I ordered a size medium (which is my normal size). It does feel more snug along the rib cage than my other bras do, but not uncomfortable at all. I also ordered the matching tank top too.
I'm an equestrian and need a bra that can give the ultimate support AND is breathable and comfortable. This one fits the bill. I am athletic and a 32B, so this bra gives plenty of support, it's also really attractive. I love that that it has an adjustable back hook, and it's easy to remove, especially when you're sweaty. I would give 5 stars if the pads weren't removable. Please make this in a beige/tan color!
This bra is built so perfectly I don't even know I'm wearing it. No distractions and not too tight. The design does not dig in or creep up. The price was remarkable for the quality. (Please don't raise the price because I said that). Use it for active cross training, road drills and running, perfect for all.
Love this sports bra. I've mostly been using it for cycling and yoga (which don't require the level of support this bra needs), but I like to feel locked and loaded when I'm going to work out. A+. Haven't purchased a Brooks Bra in a few years, and I'm happy to say that the quality and engineering has definitely improved.
This is a great bra for running and exercising. It works super well for me during workouts and easy runs alike and is comfortable. I'm an avid (short) runner, and I like that the clip in the back is easy to adjust. I would definitely recommend.
This has quickly become a favorite running bra. It breathes nicely in the heat and humidity. The mesh is a nice touch. It is supportive without being too much. I like that the straps are adjustable. That's a plus since I'm petite. I've worn it on long runs with no chaffing or irritation.
I received this bra for free in exchange for providing an honest review online. I find it comfortable, cute, and fits true-to-size. I love the mesh detailing and the turquoise color! Only issue for me is some minor gapping on the sides, by the armpits.
Well I guess you could say I've suffered a little bit of cute strapped sports bra envy. Being a C cup and having shoulder issues, whenever I tried one of those cute pullover sports bras with the fancy backs, if I got it a size that was fairly easy to put on and take off, it was about as supportive as an old cotton tank top. And if I got it in a size that might actually work for medium-impact activity, I lived in fear of needing to call 911 to get it off my even-slightly-sweaty body. So when Brooks contacted me with an offer for a free sports bra in return for my honest review, I perused the offerings for a bra that might satisfy that envy, and settled on the Fast Forward bra. The combination of fabric and mesh makes for a cute, non-vanilla look, and the straps crossing in back take that look a step further. The bust band is sewn down, and doesn't roll. And it fastens in back with a swimsuit closure, which is a lot easier for me to handle than a hooks-and -eyes closure. The first time I wore it, I realized pretty quickly that I needed to do a better job of tag removal, but when I took it off and looked at it, I found I was able to easily and cleanly tear the tags from the seam they were sewn into. I wear it with the removable cup liners out, and have worn it for Pilates, weight training and walking. The level of support is fine for me for these activities, although I think it would be less comfortable for higher impact stuff (as expected for a medium impact sports bra). And I like feeling like I'm wearing a cute sports bra!
"I'm loving my FastForward! It's so comfortable! The mesh is stylish and soft and I love the back. Cute for any top I want to wear with it. I also love the padding on the cup, it adds support and modesty. I probably wouldn't be able to run in this bra, since it's medium support and I'm pretty busty, but it's perfect for everyday because it's so comfortable! Thanks to Brooks for sending me this bra so that I can try it out and review it!"
The FastForward CrossBack has great features, but ultimately wasn't for me. I'm petite yet busty, and really liked how snugly it fit with the adjustable band and straps. However, I ended up spilling out of the front and sides. This bra is great for a custom fit, but not so much for those who are well endowed. As a note, I received this bra free of charge to try in exchange for an honest review.
I was skeptical when I first opened the package because the bra looked small for a XL but once I put it on it fit perfectly! I have a big chest which made it a little difficult to get on and off since it goes on over your head, but once I got it all situated I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. I especially like the mesh at the top because it makes the bra look more attractive while still providing coverage. It's definitely a medium impact bra though because it didn't hold everything in place during extensive exercise. Even though I got this bra for free in return for this review, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again and recommend it to my friends!
