I wasn't expecting much without the normal high-structure, underwire, etc of a max support bra for larger sizes. This bra has the least movement of any I've tried, and the inside sewing really does a good job of keeps things in their place. My go-to has been the classic bra retailer in your local mall with the pink store front. This bra kept movement down even more than my go-to angel max, but without the heavy feel. After breast augmentation, my running times went down, and I attributed it to feeling constricted with the max bras, but I crave the support for the sake of my future self. I ordered all of the Brooks max support bras, and I was shocked that Jubralee was by far the lightest feeling, most comfortable (as a max bra can be after I tighten the shoulder straps before the run), most effective support I felt. It's not the most comfortable bra just for walking around, and the back of it is sort of granny style, but it's great! No more of that heavy compression from a wide bottom strap! I just wish the little Brooks logo held on a little tighter. It started to peel off on several of the bras from the moment I tried them on, even with the right fit.
Love this bra!! I've tried many sports bras and this is the only one I found that really stays in place, provides complete support (no bouncing at all), and is super comfortable -- even while running or doing jumping jacks or anything else! Please, please, please, could you make this bra is a nude or lighter color? I want to replace all my sports bras with this, but I can't because the dark colors show through some of my shirts. Thank you!
This sports bra provides incredible compression and support without feeling like you're suffocating. I had purchased a few different styles earlier this year and this was my favorite, so I bought another!
I never write reviews for products but I really just had to express how amazing this bra is. I've always been on the bustier side but slimmer throughout the rest of my body so finding a sports bra with high support that fits me properly has always been a pain. I came across this bra at a fitness store in NYC and I bought two of them. They are beyond comfortable, the keep everything tight and in place, no painful bounce, and they're super flattering also! I wish I had 5 more of these bras, that's how amazing they are. Definitely, 100% recommend, you will NOT regret it.
I'm not a runner! My workouts consist of HIIT and Zumba classes. This bra steps up to the challenge of holding the girls in place during my high impact workouts! I've worn Maia in the past (which I thought was the best). But, as I age, the underwire is starting to be a bother. Glad I read the reviews for the Jubralee and decided to purchase.
I needed to order one cup size up from my other Brooks sports bra (Fiona). It seems to have a little less coverage on the sides than other sports bras. But the larger cup size solved that problem for me. Thank goodness they actually make this product in a 34E. The support is perfect for soccer and trail running. I like that the straps are wide and soft and can be adjusted easily from the front with the hook and loop closure. The 3 hooks in back are a must for larger breasted women. These hooks are sewn into a wide very silky padded fabric which is against the skin; adding to the overall comfort of this bra. The bra's fabric is almost like a swimsuit. It dries quickly and the cups have a double layer of fabric which helps with moisture wicking.
I love the Jubralee! I've previously worn the Fiona, and I liked it, but it is isn't quite supportive enough for running. The Jubralee feels like a sturdier Fiona. The Jubralee locks the girls in place without making me feel like my chest is in a vice. I have shallow breasts, and this bra fits that shape perfectly. If it helps, my favorite non-sports bra is the Natori Feathers. If you like the Feathers for everyday, I think you will like the Jubralee for your workout. My favorite features are the back design (I can't wear racerbacks without getting a headache), and the easily adjustable straps. I ordered 2 more after my first run in this bra. One caution for sizing: It runs tight in the band. Usually 32 bands are comfortable on me. In this bra, I sized up to a 34 and went down one cup size to compensate.
I bought the Jubralee size 34D in 2012, and it was a gamechanger. I could lock down my lopsided pendulous breasts and achieve no bounce. It was a miracle. I quickly fell out of love with my Fionas, which I realized weren't suited for high impact after all. My only complaint is that since Brooks took over Moving Comfort, the sizing has changed somewhat. With normal underwire bras I wear a 32DD, but with Moving Comfort I always ordered 34D. My recent order of size 34D Jubralee is a much larger bra than my 2012 Moving Comfort 34D-- I'm going to have to try a 32D or 32DD. Oh well, a small price to pay for the best running bra of all time.
This bra fits great! There's no rubbing around my rib cage, it keeps me can change really well. I love the adjustable straps and the fact that it does not use my neck for support. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who does a lot of running.
My old Moving Comfort Fionas are getting a little long in the tooth, so I decided to pick up a Jubralee since reviews for the recent Fiona looked like maybe it wasn't quite as locked-in as it used to be (haven't tried the Brooks Fiona yet) This reminds me a LOT of my old Fiona bras (though newer, of course!!)-really similar feel, the neckline maybe a shade higher, and some slightly decorative venting that's not actually all that noticeable. Shoulder straps are slightly less fluffy than my old Fiona but I don't notice that when I'm wearing it. Again, haven't tried the new Fiona, so I'm comparing against the old one. Would love some more colors - why only two? Where's my pink and baby blue?
The band feels quite tight in comparison to other bras and sports bras I have in the same size and this bra basically squishes your chest down to flatten the girls. It's mostly just painful. The good thing is it is not a racerback style.
I wear these bras on a daily basis for CrossFit. I have a large chest and it has GREAT support for all fitness movements, especially double unders. Only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because it is a little difficult to reach back to take it on and off.
For the sake of transparency, I received a complimentary bra from Brooks to write this review. I love the Jubralee. I wore the Fiona for many, many years before Brooks bought Moving Comfort. I tried the Jubralee when Moving Comfort made it and found it no better than the Fiona and actually a little uncomfortable. But now that Brooks makes both, I've switched my allegiance. I found that once Brooks started making the Fiona, it changed in ways that I thought made it less supportive but, on the plus side, the Brooks version of the Jubralee is quite supportive and very comfortable. I find that it holds the chest up and in against the body in a way that I really like. It is a compression-style bra, which is my preference, as it minimizes bounce and discomfort. It is easy to put on/take off, is very supportive, and very comfortable. The straps can be shortened sufficiently for me (high breasted) and the rib cage band doesn't roll up whatsoever (the Fiona's does). It is comfortable to wear for cardio but also for weights or yoga. It never feels constrictive yet also feels like it's keeping everything very secure. If I am doing really high impact cardio I tend to prefer the Enell or the Panache bras. Otherwise, I live in the Jubralee. I highly recommend it.
I liked the Juno bra better for running....no bounce.
I bought both the Jubalee bra and the Juno bra to try them both out. I liked the Juno bra better. The Jubalee just didn't have the high impact support I needed to prevent bounce during my runs. I think the Juno bra is more of a medium impact bra that would be fine for walking, aerobics or yoga. I needed something to prevent bounce. The bra was comfortable and very similar to the Juno. The difference is that it has regular bra straps and not an X-back. I needed higher support for running. If I wanted a medium support bra this one would be nice. It is less restrictive than the Juno. The Jubalee would probably be a better choice for something requiring a lot of twisting and lifting than the Juno bra. The Juno is meant to keep the girls in place. The Jubalee would allow more flexibility in movement.
I just had a baby two months ago and am breast feeding. This is the only bra that has given me the support I need. I also love it since I am nursing because of the velcro straps. As soon as I am done running, I can feed her, just like if it was a nursing bra. I will be ordering another one, soon. I am so glad I finally have the support for which I have been looking.
The Jubralee is my favorite bra, hands down. With a petite, busty figure, it is SO hard to find a bra that is snug fitting in the band and straps but also has enough space and support. The Jubralee is adjustable and provides fantastic support; I criss-cross the straps to make it a racerback. No more double bras for me!! I received this bra (along with a slew of others that just didn't work for my figure) free-of-charge to try in exchange for an honest review. The Jubralee is the one that does the trick for me.
