If it cool out when you put it on you’ll be cool, as soon as you warm up you’ll be warm for sure. I wore it in a spring down pour and no absolutely no water got in. My hair was dry under the hood. The pockets are deep and waterproof , the inside is comfy. My only suggestion is, the material isn’t quite so if you need that wash it first, if it’s really cool wear a hoodie or a thermal.
