I adore them too plaid pattern and the red leather color. This is my second pair (ann emergency back up really) and I’ll keep getting them as long as they’re made! The tread lasts a huge long time. \nAs with any Keen, it’s always smart to go up 1 size and they’ll fit you perfectly. Highly recommend them if you’re on a trail in winter, rain or snow. We see months of the year where the temperature hovers near zero. These boots are so warm and comfortable it makes being outside in the cold, snow and ice tolerable! The footbed is comfortable and warm. The traction is very secure on snow covered, ice covered and uneven trails, walkways and pavement. They’re also deceptively light! I like that these boots are tall, they help keep my calves warm. The zipper closure is a great feature too. Once I adjusted the laces to where it’s comfortable I never had to readjust them, just zip and go! It makes the boots easy to get into and out of. Once out in the elements I found that exterior of the boot was probably an unsung hero…. tough and very protective! Have several Keen Boots. Only issue is I wish the laces were longer. Every pair I own with laces need a little longer laces BUT I still love my Keen boots. Very well made. Other pair like this are 12 years old & still in great shape. Foot has just gone up half a size.
