I wear sandals with socks and even with socks the Newports didn't seem right for me. I wear socks with the Hyperport sandals but wouldn't need to. I used to buy them in my regular size of 8 in previous years but this year I had to size up to 8. 5 otherwise they were a bit snug. Keep making the Hyperports! Easy on with orginal last.","text":"Been looking for months for a replacement for my beloved McKenzie (and McKenzie II). I have a wide foot with a skinny heel (yes, Bozo feet) and was excited to see these had the traditional last. The stretchy back makes it easy to put on/take off. \n\nIn comparison to the McKenzie: \n\nThe Hypersport H2 sole has much more padding and support. On the minus side, I miss the mesh sides; the Hypersport H2s don't breath as well; the toe box is a little shorter; and the taller back might end up rubbing against my heel. \n\nOddly, I ordered the Nostalgia Rose and Destination Pack (Navy Blue) figuring that the blue would be my daily driver and the rose for my more \"expressive\" days. The blue is a bright, saturated Navy. So it will be the expressive one.
