This is my favorite lightweight hiking boot! I need ankle support so can’t wear a shoe. They are like sneakers when it comes to comfort. The only thing I can say negatively is that I wish they didn’t change the footbed. I shattered my heel and the new heel lock footbeds are very uncomfortable. I’ve tried the replacement ones and they are not the same, unless I got the wrong ones! That special cushion spot on the the heel was perfect! Not sure what I’ll do when I can no longer swap out my old footbeds!
I love these boots!! Comfortable from the first wear!!! High quality and great innersole that feels like extreme cushion!! Also love the color...I get lots of comments of how good they look!!! Love love love my boats!!!!
A year ago I had bought the Terradora I for a trip to Peru. The boots were great during that trip. I continued to wear the boots on many hikes and started to notice the shoes were tearing in a crease area where the toes bend. I decided to test the return policy and was extremely pleased to find that the boots were covered by the warranty. I decided to give the Terradora II a try. I was not disappointed. The new version of the book kept the comfort and the support I liked in the first pair. The material on the outer side of the boot has changed. It is not as tight of a weave, so I do not anticipate having the tearing issue I experienced with the first pair. The tread on the boot seems to be more substantial as well. The boot is light in weight, which I really liked. I picked the canteen/andorra colours, which I really like. I do not have a wide foot and find these very comfortable with a good pair of hiking socks. To be honest for me, these boots are perfect and I look forward to many hiking adventures in them.
I got these over a month ago and have been on a bunch of day hikes. I love them! They feel protective but not heavy and have good grip for rock scrabbling. The softer top feels comfortable like a sneaker and the bit of flex in the sole helps me sense the ground better. They have the good wide Keen toe box.
I purchased these for a trip to Utah and they definitely didn't disappoint! They have so much support but feel lightweight and breathable at the same time. I didn't even need to break them in. Definitely recommend!
Was hesitant to order these with all of the talk about them being narrow. But, since they were one of the few non-leatber options, I went for it. They are definitely not narrow. My foot borders on a wide width and these feel great. I ordered a half size up and they're perfect.
This is the most comfortable boot I own. Even when I was breaking them in they were comfortable. I saw other reviews that said to get a half size up so I did and they fit perfectly! I am usually a 7.5 and I got an 8. Amazing set of boots.
Love these so far! I've been using this shoe to hike 20-30 miles per week in the Pacific Northwest for the last couple weeks. I've been on several snowy and rainy hikes and this shoe seems to be holding up well so far! I can't say the same was true for my last Keen shoe (the Targhee III), which is why I'm trying this one at Keen's recommendation. I'll also note that my foot is relatively narrow and I found these to be very narrow at first, but they broke in after a couple hikes to be super well-fitted and comfortable.
Looks good, fits good, but they are NOT waterproof. After only a couple hours walking in a heavy rain my socks were wet! Disappointed, as I have many Keen shoes and sandals and wanted this waterproof pair for travel. I should have taken them back, but I waited too long. Now they gather dust in the closet!
Unfortunately I had to send them back because they were too narrow for me, I use to love Keens specifically because they were so wide and round in the toe, but these are more like any other shoe. They are super cute though!
Extremely comfortable walking boots 🥾 From the minute I put my foot in to try them on I knew they would be just perfect and I was right! I’m usually a size 7 but went for a 7.5. Good decision as fit spot on Thanks Keen
Lovely hiking boot. Great colours and seems study and light but they were too narrow in the middle to the back bit of the shoe. It’s odd as I have bunions but they fit the front totally fine! Wish I could have kept them but sadly need to return. I ordered a 6.5 (normally I would be a 6). U I read in the reviews that they run small. The length fit fine.
My first Keen boots lasted me 3, almost 4 years and I loved them. I tried on many different boots looking for a new pair and the Keens won again! I bought a 1/2 size up from my regular shoe size as I wear thicker hiking socks with these typically. I read a comment about them being bulky and I don't think they are. They're light and comfortable!
I’ve worn Keen boots for years and always have loved the fit. This is a new style for me and they are great. I wear an 8.5 and bought an 8.5 and the fit is perfect. They are lightweight and look good. It’s still raining where I live so I’ve only worn them on dry days- too new to risk getting them muddy!
I have a standard to narrow foot and my toes fall asleep with these. I asked customer service for replacement suggestions but unfortunately the options are nearly sold out. Super bummed. Definitely don't purchase unless you have a very narrow foot. This should be added to the description of the product vs. having to find out the hard way.
I’m a return customer, having ordered this same boot a couple years ago. LOVED the first ones. Expected these to be exactly the same, but the insole is a different material and doesn’t offer as much comfort in my opinion. I’m hoping that as I wear them they’ll break in, but right now I’m missing my old ones.
I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 8 and I bought the 8 medium width. I have a very thin foot and these hiking boots fit perfectly. Put them on and wore them all day in the house to break them in and had no problems whatsoever. Can't wait till spring to get out and hike!
I really am fond of Keen. These shoes are absolutely fantastic. But when I wanted to take my first walk, I saw the the shoe laces were worn out? I told the aftersales via the internet, but I never heard anything ever since. That's a shame for such a great product.
Per other reviews, I ordered half a size up and the boots fit me perfectly. They are definitely narrow and a bit bulky. My only concern is that there are seams where the front of the foot bends to walk and on my second use (on a super shallow creek, about 1/2" inch) the seam came undone and water seeped in. I reached out to customer service a few times via email and haven't received a response back. The boots are great otherwise and I love the traction they provide.
These boots are incredibly comfortable! I have worn them in the snow several times now and my feet stay dry and mostly warm. These are narrower than previous Keens I have worn. I like that because I have narrow feet. I would not recommend for those with wider feet. They will be too snug. I did not give these boots 5 stars because I think the soles could provide more stability on ice. They are not "sticky" enough for my tastes. But other than that, the color options, the fit and overall experience with this boot has been awesome! I ordered 1/2 size up.
I loved these boots but after only 4 months use maybe an hours walk a day they have got holes in the material where the waterproof design finishes. This is the part of the shoe that flexes the most but has the least support. I would have hoped for the price Id get a year out of them.
The boots are lovely looking, I’m a 6.5 and they are slightly big on me. I wear thick socks with them which helps, nice bit of wiggle room for my toes, very comfortable for long walks, not tried them in the rain yet so don’t know how they will fair.
These are so comfortable right out of the box and look nice too. Unfortunately returning because as others have said, they are very narrow - they are pinching the ball of the foot even though it's not summer yet and my feet aren't swollen from hiking. I wish they fit like the Revel IV High Polar Boot I've been wearing all winter!
I have found these to be great for winter walking and look forward to hiking in them also. They are supportive, comfortable, and fit well. The tread makes me feel like I have four-wheel drive on my feet; nice and secure. I like that they are relatively lightweight and not clunky. They are pretty warm too, which is a must for chilly walks, and I like the style. Overall, very pleased! Thanks, Keen!
I bought these boots in November 2018 and wore them hiking a lot and they felt comfortable. This fall I was hiking in the canyons of Utah and the boots got wet (not soaked just wet). When they dried the foot bed warped in a way that is very uncomfortable and I can no longer wear them even though the uppers etc are in good shape.
I have been using my keens to walk my dog on pavement and trails 7ish miles a week. They were comfy out of the box, only needing a little break in time. Have been great on wet terrain. My only complaint is that the shoelaces feel thin.
Right out of the box and onto a two hour snowy hike
Fit great. I wore thick socks and was worried the toe box might be too small in my slightly larger foot but it stretched out with no problem after a couple of minutes. I have a high arch and a regular but slightly narrow foot. Very comfortable. Decent traction on snow and ice.
I bought these for site visits for an environmental job, and I’m also wearing them in the winter for walks. I’ve received several compliments on their look. I wear them with my sport orthotics and they’re very comfortable.
