I love the shoes love the colors on the bottom. They are too big should have sent back but didn’t want to bother. My foot doctor told me to get good pair of shoes have been having problems but since I got the keen terradora high tops they feel much better. My foot doctor is pleased with the both pair of keens I have.
I am so pleased with this shoe and have been wearing it on long day hikes ( no toe -jam) and it's also good on pavement. I've never enjoyed the squishy feeling of runners but wanted something lightweight and supportive. It snugs up in my narrow midfoot and has a decently roomy toe box. I needed to swap out the insert for another for extra arch support but seem to do it with all shoes. I got these in the nice green and prefer earthy colors to camouflage dust and dirt as it is a hiking shoe! Will definately buy again when needed. I'm between sizes and the smaller fit well.
These shoes are great! I bought a pair for myself and I liked them so much I ordered a pair for my 93 year old mother. She loves them too! Comfortable from the moment we both put ours on! I think they might run a little bit small, so I ordered 1/2 size larger for both of us, and both fit great.
I love these shoes! From the moment I put them on I fell in love with them. Comfort plus! I have worn a pair of leather KEEN shoes for at least 6 years. They are wonderful, so I thought I'd get a pair of KEEN sneakers. This style seemed good. My KEEN leather shoes are size 9.5, but other reviews for the Terradora said the shoe ran small. So I ordered a size 10. Perfect. I liked these shoes so much I ordered a pair (same color) for my 93 year old mother. She usually wears an 11 - 11.5, but I ordered a 12....and she loves her new shoes too! She and I both have been wearing these every day since they arrived. Ordering was easy and the shoes shipped and arrived right away.
I used to be a fan of Merrel hiking shoes, but no more! These are THE most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned! I’ve had them about 4 months now and they’re like walking on clouds! Great traction for the dry, loose and rocky soil here in CA! I size up a half size in hiking shoes, and these fit perfectly! They’re well made and stylish! Please don’t stop making this show!
I walk a TON for work, and I needed a shoe that was durable, let’s my feet breath, and can be just as comfortable but as when I start my 12 hr shift. These shoes fit the bill, and are well worth the money! I have tried many brands, but this is by far my favorite go-to. Most of the reviews said to size up if you’re between sizes, so I got a 10. They are the perfect fit
Love these Keens. I have a narrow foot and these fit great. No breaking in time! Were great right out of the box! Thinking of getting a second pair. I have bad knees and Keens give me the support I need.
I have been wearing keen shoes for over ten years and have been very happy with them! The only drawback with these shoes (and it irritates me every time I put them on) is that the shoe strings are too short and are thin-not the same quality as shoes jive purchased before. Ortherwise they are comfortable.
I stand on concrete for hours coaching and my feet and knees always hurt afterwards. After buying and wearing the terradora for the past week, my feet and knees are happy again. They look great with my athletic wear too.
I read all the reviews....I should have believed all of you! I have a narrow foot so thought these might be perfect. But my regular size in all my other Keens is 9.5 and I could seriously not even get my foot in this shoe. And it is NARROW. Nowhere like any other Keen I have bought. So back it goes, thank you Keen for free shipping and returns during this holiday time.
I ended up returning the shoes because they are too narrow, not the wide toe box I'm use to with all my other Keen shoes. I was hoping they would be a good replacement for my Versatile (not sure that is the name) Keen tennis shoes but they aren't. I wish I could still get the previous pair of Keen shoes I had which were very comfortable and lasted a good amount of time. Perhaps Keen could list their shoes as wide toe or narrow?? Would only recommend if you like the narrow toe box.
This is my first pair of Keen's in this "athletic shoe" style . In the past I have always had the Presidio style. They are very comfortable but do seem to be a tiny bit longer and a tad narrower than the Presidio of the same size. I also wish the laces were a bit thicker. BUT I absolutely love them and just returned from a trip where I wore them every day on many different terrains and they performed beautifully. I have a bad ankle and I didn't have any problems at all.
I love these shoes! Very light weight, well made, and so very comfortable! The most comfortable hiking shoes I’ve ever owned! They have great traction which is very important when hiking in California on dry, Rocky and loose soil! I always size up a half size in hiking shoes and these fit perfect!
I bought the shoes and initially because they were super marked down I'm not sure if it's because they are Orange however they are quite comfortable out of the Box. Someone else had said that they are true to size. I wear an 8 in all Keens however the foot bed is not the same ergonomic foot bed as in a sandal. when you pull out the removable liner that's the only support you receive rather than the sandal which is ergonomically designed for my foot. I have not worn these on a long distance walk or all during the day because I'm afraid my feet will hurt but I am keeping them because I love Keens and I got a really good price.
With my arthritic big toes and other assorted foot issues, KEEN shoes just seem to work for me. Not too cushy in terms of support (causing the tendons on top of my feet to be sore) and just solidly comfortable. I have made some expensive mistakes, thinking that more cushion is better. These are a little narrow in the toe box - if KEEN would do a "foot shape" toe box like ALTRA athletic shoes, they would be unstoppable, and have my undying devotion for the rest of my days. The arch on these shoes could be a little higher, but - that's just me; high instep, high arch. Also maybe there should be a discount if your last name is KEEN? (Just sayin'...)
Bought these shoes for my Jassercise aerobics class. The shoe fits perfectly to my size and narrow foot. The shoe is light weight and well made. In my previous other brand name shoes I always had to wear inserts to cushion the heel; not with knee products. I own six pairs of knee shoes, all of them are comfortable & fit perfectly to my size shoe.
Only reason I’m giving this a 4 star is because I needed to wear them a couple of times to break them in and I have to wear thick hiking socks. I have a hard time finding shoes so once I did break them in, my feet feel fully supported and they’re actually comfortable. The traction is great, some would say I am accident prone so these have saved me a couple times haha. They aren’t clunky like most hiking shoes. Delivery was quick/simple.
The quality of this shoe is great! A little stiff at first, but after wearing for a few times, they are very comfortable. Was a little disappointed that they are a little narrower than I expected. Any Keens I have had in the past we’re a wider shoe. Wish they offered wide width as I usually order wide width. Overall a great shoe!
These were very tight on my wide feet. Not comfortable at all. Also, I thought from the description that they would have open mesh areas on the shoe. Not so, all enclosed. Good padding, nice looking But not what I was looking for and too narrow for me.
My dad and my sister have been loving their Keens for years now, and I have been hesitating because of the price. It’s well worth it - these shoes are incredibly comfortable and durable, and a great value! I also love the way they look and feel - from the heel, to the laces, to the tongue, to the toe box, to the sole. :)
I bought these because I do a lot of trail walking/running/mild hiking, and wanted a comfortable pair of shoes designed for exactly how I exercise. I have been on 2 walks with them now, and my feet have never felt so good after an hour on the trail. I used to wear running shoes, and my feet were always sore. These shoes handle the transitions from pavement, gravel, dirt, and mud so well.
If you are on the fence, just go ahead and buy them! I got the graystone/shark color, and just love the purpleness.
Breathable and lightweight but sturdy. I got the "plaza taupe/coral" color, and it looks slightly different in person; it's tan but in some lighting more of a grey-sage green shade (not so much the pinkish tan that it looks like on my computer). Very comfortable and mostly true to size, but the way the tongue is sewn in place down the inside makes it feel almost too narrow. If you have wider feet it's possible it may not work for you, or you could detach the tongue. Did not need to "break in" at all. Overall I love them and have been wearing them often!
