Thank you, Keen! If you were a fan of the WP Marshall style, Keen has finally made a shoe We can get behind. It’s always sad when companies decide we no longer want a design we have all fallen in love with. I think the Terradora II may just be that shoe. Try them. They fit perfect to size. Keen, more good colors, please!
I wear a size 10 wide width in women's shoes, 9.5 wide width for boots, and usually a 8.5 in men's. I usually will just buy men's shoes so I don't have any issue with width. The Targhee III shoe I tried on at a local store fit well at 9.5 and I ordered a pair on here. I was hopeful in seeing that some had luck ordering a half size up for these and the couple reviews I read saying they ordered their normal size and didnt notice it being too tight. I ordered these in a 10 from Amazon since the color I wanted wasn't available on here in that size. They just arrived today and unfortunately they are WAY too tight towards the front of the foot. If they had these available in a wide width option or in men's, then I'm sure they'd sell very well. The shoe itself looks like it's a great shoe. I wish my foot didn't feel squished. I'm so sad that these don't fit. That's why I give a 3/5 rating.
I hike 5 days a week and my shoes invariably get scratched and torn, that's why the waterproofing goes. I considered a different pair/brand and bought Solomons but they were awful, for reasons I won't get into. So I'm back to buying my tried-and-true Terradora's again. I'm a standard women's 10 and 10 fit me with these.
I had to replace a pair of Keen Hikers I had and loved. Suffice it to say, they are always changing styles and I could not find the style I wanted, so I went with these in the Purple and am SOOOO over the moon happy with them. They fit perfectly in my normal size (a 7) and the color is phenomenal but not too overly dark or bright. Perfect lilac color. I really don't want to get them dirty, but going on a hike Saturday so the dirt will happen, I just gotta wipe if off at the end of the hike, but YES! I highly recommend these for look, for comfort, for durability.
I was nervous to buy these because I saw reviews that said they run way smaller/narrower/tighter than keen boots but I got my usual size for keen footwear (9) and they fit great. I haven’t noticed them being super narrow at all.
If you want comfy cushioned shoes, these are great - just size up a half size if you want to give your tootsies a little extra room in the toe box. They get narrow fast past the ball of your foot. But they are SUUUUPER comfy and need nearly no break in time.
I bought a pair of Terradora 1's a year ago because they were the most comfortable shoes I'd ever tried on. I then bought a pair of Terradora 2 high tops and now a pair of Terradora 2 low tops because I can't imagine living my life without these shoes. I haven't been a Keen wearer previously, so I understand they might be a little narrower than other Keens, but they fit comfortably like other shoes. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 and found the 9's fit great.
These are my go to shoes for hiking on slushy trails. Comfy, grip the trail, and my feet stay dry! Keens are always well made and stand up to wear and weather. Highly recommended and I will buy again. Note - I wear a half size larger than normal in these
Needing to replace my worn Targhees with another waterproof option, I ordered Targhee IIs. While the Targhees fit fine - though they ran a bit narrower in the toe than expected from Keens - the Targhee IIs were even more narrow, and my feet were not happy. After an online chat with a very helpful associate, I ordered Terradora IIs. Ta da! They have the traditional wide toe box fit expected from Keens, and I'm happily exploring the neighborhood, running errands, and anticipating any adventures, wet or dry.
This is a very attractive shoe, but it stops there. I am a 115 pound female and I mention this only to emphasize my feet are infact bony. My dress shoes are 8N or A with a AA narrow heal. I expected a more open toe box, but found this 8.5 shoe was tight from top to midfoot. It has a pointy appearance which I didnt like at all. I expected a more modern open toe box. Strangely, though narrow, the heel still slipped as most do on my narrow foot, but for a narrow foot person, I didnt expect the mid to top area to feel tight. Also the shoe is heavy, the sole was rigid with a high instep, and I am not flat footed by any means but felt pressure pushing under my instep. I found them just tight, rigid, and not comfortable for even a short strolll inside my house, and couldnt wait to take them off.
I'm so happy that reviews are read. I love all my Keens and wanted this one because it looked comfy and not as bulky as my regular Keens. I liked the sole too because it wasn't all full of lugs. But it is way too narrow. From reading a lot of reviews on many Keen shoes (pandemic scrolling!!) I would like to suggest that you make a shoe with 1) wide toe box like reg Keens 2) lighter soles 3) the same arch support as Voyagers, etc. 3) make it breathe. Waterproof is just too hot for summer hiking. In my view Keens are the ONLY shoe to wear if you are prone to plantar fasciatis like I am. I can get over it in a few weeks if I wear my Keens the minute I pop out of bed. But the key is the arch and heel style that molds right to my foot. This shoe does not have that. Keep up the good work but make a lighter Voyager. Thanks!!
I have just bought my first ever Keen shoes for walking, and I went for Terradora II Water Proof Hiking trainers for good ankle movement. They are super light and feel very comfortable. I maybe buying more styles from the brand.
I use these for my morning dog walks around the city. I have narrow feet, and it's always tricky to find the right pair of hiking shoes that don't slip around on my feet. These have felt great from day 1 - no break-in period. Strongly recommended for narrow feet!
I really liked the regular Terradora as it had a wide toebox and a narrow mid foot. Sadly the new version has a pointy toe box. Will return these and wear my grubby old ones ( a tear in the fabric after 2 years of wear) until I find a new model. I used to rely on Keen for a good fit for hiking.
I used to keen waterproof hiking shoes like this product. I loved my 3 old shoes. But this product is not fit my feet. I have worn 7.5. But this one is too narrow and toes don't have extra room. So I returned my previous order and get 8 just right now. There is extra fabric in the toe area. That's bugging my toes and scratching. I also tried size 8 ( same shoes and different color) at the shop nearby before I ordered again. I didn't have any issue with that shoes. I'm too tired to re-order again. Very disappointed.
I usually wear running shoes, but switching to these has been a huge comfort upgrade. Walking through wet grass with the dog no longer equals wet feet, and they are soooo supportive and comfortable. Stood in line for hours on concrete to vote and my feet didn’t hurt at all. Built like tanks, hopefully will last. I’m buying more pairs because I never want to give these up.
I enjoy my new shoes; they will go into winter very well and I don't have to be concerned what kind of weather I'm walking in. I do wish that I had ordered a size 8 instead of 7 1/2; I usually wear a 7 and thought going up 1/2 size would be sufficient....
If you’re going to have most of your reps.working at home,u need to find a way that they can access the customer’s records so they can see the cstmr’s act.where they prevsly.called who they talked 2 etc.You need to improve the colors on your women’s sneakers.Have more pink instead of drab gray/dull green. The only thing I would’ve changed about these shoes is the colors.I would’ve liked to buy them in green background with pink stripes n pink trim. With them being drab gray/dull green they look more like Men’s shoes.I’m proud to be a woman and want to show off my femininity not hide it. If u don’t improve your colors and have more feminine ones on your Women’s shoes,I will not buy anymore. This will be my last pair from you.
