From sunrise salutations to sunset hikes, the KÜHL W'S FREEFLEX MOVE lightweight hiking pantsare designed to flow with you. Lightweight, wicking and quick dry, innovative FREEFLEX fabric stretches without spandex so these active lifestyle pants won't sag or bag over time. The wide pull-on waistband is extremely comfortable and can be adjusted with external draw cord.
The waist fit perfectly but the crotch was cut super high and the legs were too baggy beginning at the low hip. They were not flattering at all on my curves. I think the only body shape which would be right in these is a slender, straight build like the model in the pics.
These are my new favorite fishing and hiking pants. They maintained their shape even after I crawled around on my knees and butt to sneak up on the trout stream. They are breathable and quick drying. Grass stains, ground-in dirt, and some unidentifiable dog slime washed out beautifully. They did not repel barbed wire, but neither did my leg, so I don't hold that against them. I would have worn them for less casual pursuits if not for my hideous repair job on the barbed-wire perforations. The XS fits perfectly (5'4", 112 lbs).
I love these pants! Quick drying, cool and very comfortable to wear. Sizing is spot on! I went right back to your website to see if you had these in a capri and shorts! I do see that you do have them in a short and I can’t wait to try them out!
I absolutely love these pants! Very flattering fit. They are not tapered so they are very slimming-. Comfortable fabric too. I have a smaller waist so the draw cord is perfect. I highly recommend these!
I normally wear a size 4 in Kuhl pants, which definitely tend towards the small side. I'm 5/4" about 114 lbs and fit, but older so not everything is in the same place it was when I was 30. :) I bought the cabo in a size 4 which many say runs small and they fit. I got these in a small, and they are huge. I can't pull the waist drawstring small enough for them to fit - the fabric bunches up. I'm keeping them because the cost of returning them is too high and I can wear them around the house, but if you are looking at these, know the run BIG for Kuhl and honestly big for any brand of hiking pants. The fabric is a typical Kuhl fabric - soft and I think they will breathe nicely. Overall, disappointed.
I bought two pants, one in beige and one in gray in size large. The beige are roomy and the gray are a little tight through the bum. There shouldn’t be this much discrepancy in sizes. Also just a suggestion, but you might have the item descriptions on your review page for reference. I don’t know that the colors are called beige and gray; you may have more colorful names for them.
I used the size chart to determine size, as these come in either S, M, or L, etc. I usually buy Kuhl products that use numbers (8, 10, 12). I'm a 10 in those, but the size chart seemed to indicate I'd be a Large. NOT! Medium is a 10. I wish their chart was more consistent with what one experiences. Otherwise, these pants are flattering, and comfortable.
I study and recreate in the natural world and one of my biggest gripes about women's outdoor apparel is that its pretty dorky and techy. These pants are pretty basic. Not a whole lot of pockets, not super durable. But if you're tired of wearing leggings these pants will do the job. They are comfortable, great for traveling, and fine to go from lounging to casual hiking/climbing, etc.
This is my 2nd pair, I like the fit and style. Fabric is great for many outdoor sports, I wear them hiking and climbing, as well as travel. Having zip pockets is a really good feature. I'm 5'5, athletic build (no hips) and wear an XS in these.
I have had these for about a month and ABSOLUTELY love them! I needed a pair of pants that could withstand the mountains and climbing gym, yet still look fitted in public. The pockets COULD be a bit large on the front, but an Iphone 8 w/ a case still fits nicely. I'm 5'8, 140, and the Small/ 32 Inseam fits perfect. Buying another pair because I wear them so much!
Place these good looking, comfortable pants! Would have given a '5' but the color of 'Metal' was more green that the gray I expected 😐I will keep them but am limited in colors for tops that look nice with the strange color. I am 5 1', 105# and fit of XS is loose but not baggy. They do need to be shortened about 3 inches. Have ordered a pair in black and hope they work!
Well made, comfortable and stylish for travel! I see them lasting for years and even though it's more than I would normally spend, the pants are well made and have attention to detail! Already ordered another style to add to my wardrobe. Great traveling clothes! Happy customer! ;)
After buying the Splash Roll-Ups for hiking, I realized the fabric isn't giving enough. I bought the Kuhl Freeflex Move and these will be perfect for summer hiking. Lightweight and stretchy! The zipped hip pocket is big enough for my Samsung Galaxy 6 but I wish the pocket was located in the same place the pocket is on the Splash roll-ups. One other word of warning, the "metal" color is more green than grey. FWIW, I'm 5'8" 153 lbs (42" in hips at top of thighs) and the Medium Regular fits great.
Bought these specifically for a long day of travel. Absolutely cannot say enough good about them. I even spilled water on them during a flight and they dried out in such a short time. I just may have to buy another pair!
