Stretch your legs in the KÜHL TREKR SHORT. Made with REKOIL fabric that feels great and stretches with you, these shorts won't lose their shape with wear. Pull on the quick drying short that's ready for the long haul.
LOVE these! Love the material, love the length since it's not too short, not too long. I ordered another pair in a different color. The only downside for me would be they seem to ride up a bit? But that might just be my body or undergarments I wear with them. I am just under 5'8, 150 lbs and bought a size 10. Fit great!
Moved to remote town in Idaho, doing a lot of hiking in the woods, paddling on the lake and these shorts are the best! The 5" inseam is the perfect length, not too short and not old lady long. Just a little stretch to the fabric and the cut of the short allows for full freedom of movement. And when they get wet in the kayak, no problem, the next thing I know they are already dry. The hidden snap pocket is very helpful. Not sure what the belt loops are for though, since the inner waistband tie does the trick superbly.
I already have two colors, Odyssey and Pine, may have to get the other two colors. Wish they came in a darker blue.
Love these shorts! For me the fit is great, the fabric light, and the versatility makes them suitable for all types of activities. So glad I discovered Kühl. They cost a little more but are so worth it.
So, the long pants run small, but the shorts run big. I usually take a size 10-12, but had to go up to a 14 for some hiking pants i purchased, so i bought a 14 for the shorts. Needless to say, they were too big, so i retuned them. They seemed sturdy and well made but the sizing was all wrong. I decided to not purchase another size since i wasnt sure what size to get and I'd lose more money on postage if i had to make another return.
I really like the fit and look of these shorts. They run true to size and are the perfect length. I don’t have any curves (hips) and they’re perfect through the waist and hips. If you have a smaller waist, you can use the built-in drawstring to tighten up the waist.
Perfect lightweight shorts, I recommend sizing down
I love these lightweight shorts. The material is soft, and their stretch makes them versatile for just about anything; lounging, hiking, yoga/exercise, and you can dress them up with a nice top too.. I have worn them over some chamois bike shorts for mountain biking, and they were very comfortable. Based on reviews, I sized down, and glad I did! For reference, my measurements are; 25.5” waist, 35/35.5” hips, athletic build, and I typically wear a size 2. I bought 2 pairs in size 0 and they fit perfectly. Not loose, form-fitting I guess, but not tight at all. And they will stretch out a bit as you wear them. They fit similarly to the Splash 5.5” short in size 2, and the Kontour 4” short In size 2. I know because I bought a pair of each of those at the same time. The rear pockets with a snap closure are cute, although sometimes a bit awkward to pop back in. If you are looking for an all-round pair of shorts for the summer, these are it!
This style is so cute. I was looking for work shorts (we have to wear khaki). Surprisingly it’s impossible to find actual khaki for women in a wicking material that holds up well. These shorts, along with two other pairs I tried from kuhl, ran way to small in the waist and too long for me on inseam. I prefer a 4.5-5” inseam. The 5.5” is just too long even for a tall girl. Wish they would have worked because the material and style was nice.
Just what I was looking for, a soft, stretchy pair of shorts that would look just fine strolling downtown but still function on the trail. I’m an athletic 46 and I feel like these are modest enough. Not a Daisy Duke sort! I’m 5’7” and 140 pounds and the 8 fits great. I didn’t try the 6, might have worked for a more snug fit.
