She had ringors previously but those wore out in 1 season even the ones with the pitcher toe. New balance came but those were over sized big & bulky. The Mizunos fit her foot great, they are light weight & true to size. The season just started so I am curious how long these will last. But my daughter said she runs faster on them. We had 2 of 3 shoe brands mentioned in our house and these were the easy winner. Packed with features. Like extra cleats vs others, gender engineering which is nice to see science look at girls for a change. With a different body shape and \"design\" women have slight differences in center of gravity and where the weight is when running, and on and on vs men. Again it's details. But if you ever lost the last game of the season by a step, a weight shift, a plant and throw, then you get the importance of said details. Cusion inside the shoe up the walls to support cornering. Thick toe pad for pitchers, (and catchers actually) which is nice. And my daughter loves the style.\n\nWe got white/white. She measures 7.5b/c with a narrow heel. We got an 8. And they fit perfectly with softball socks or thicker. She had been wearing 7.5s and her toes are growing into each other from not enough length/width. I used to sell high end men's shoes and this might be the 5th review I've ever given in my life. Lastly, if you read other adds it's funny how they're all similar sounding. \"You'll run faster and jump higher with our shoe!\" This was the only shoe add that had any substance imo. 2 games in and she runs faster and jumps higher!
