I bought these to play pickleball in. I ordered a size 7 wide which is my typical size but found the heel to be a little too loose in the shoe which reduced stability for me, particularly with lateral movements. I found that I was having ankle and heel pain from this in even just 1.5 hours of play. I even tightened the shoe at the ankle but still could feel the heel moving inside the shoe itself. In the future if new balance creates a wide version with a wider forefoot and more secure heel I’m all in! As for now, am returning and keeping my fingers crossed for these changes in a future version. Will still give 4/5 because the shoe overall is very comfortable, the sole has good grip, the colorway is super cute and shoe is good quality.
