These were my first shorts branching out from the regular Nike Tempo shorts I've worn since high school. I prefer high-waisted bottoms whenever I can get my hands on them but I don't like high-waisted on athletic shorts -- these mid-rise shorts are the perfect length and perfect height. I ordered mediums at first but had to size up to a large and now they're perfect.
