These shoes are super comfortable but they won't last! With in 3 weeks of me wearing them 5X a day for 1hr per day, they started falling apart! Parts of the bottom of the shoe started to rip & stick out which made them feel uncomfortable. They might only be good for walking but definitely not good for running or working out. Don't waste your money on these shoes! My previous Nike Free shoes lasted me 3 years, these were poorly made.
I love my older Free Flex Flyknit, so I purchased the 2018 version now that the insole feels uncushioned. The outsole still looks new, so it seems durable. I use it for cross-training indoors but have walked in it for 3-4 miles at a time. I don't run any more. At the beginning of the year, I bought Lunarglides from the Nike Outlet locally, since they were recommended for HIIT and weight-lifting, but they were ghastly with their thick wedged sole. Differences: 1. The green, older version, has a more-pointed toe. 2. The green shoes ran larger, so my left foot always felt too loose. 3. The green shoes have a rounded shoelace, and it ties almost too tightly and constricts blood flow if I am not careful. 4. The ice blue 2018 shoe seems to fit better on both feet, and the flatter shoelaces are more comfortable. 5. Walking in them is fine on a road but definitely not on bare floors. It's scary, and now I wish I had tried a different model. Be WARNED. 6. The arch is not as high on the new model. I don't know if that matters to me. I have been too leery of fast movements to fully examine that feel. 7. Also, it takes forever to insert my foot in the shoe. The back edge seems even thinner and rolls in when I try to put it on. Very frustrating. I am starting to hate the shoe. 8. There is a large gap between the heel and back of the shoe. It doesn't affect the fit once I put them on, but perhaps that is why the fabric rolls in.
Terrible (!) durability - the sole is falling apart after just a couple of months
These shoes are super comfortable and light-weight, however, they do not last. If you are planning to wear these just for light strolls they might be OK, but for running or longer regular walks (I only walk, don't run) I cannot recommend them as the sole started to fall apart very fast. I've had them for less than 3 months and they are no longer comfortable due to the sole being so worn down already, although I'm not even unusually heavy (130 lbs).
I purchased these while on vacation in Europe where I was walking A LOT. 20,000+ steps a day. I had originally brought along two other pairs of shoes that were horrible and very uncomfortable. I have bunions (despite being only 29), so I need a really supportive and comfortable shoe to be doing that kind of walking. After a few days of foot pain, my husband insisted that we go to Nike to get me some proper footwear. I am so glad I found these! I got the all black. They are so squishy and comfortable while still being really supportive. I had virtually no foot pain after wearing these. I ended up wearing these for a week straight in Europe, and have continued to wear them after we got home. I am wearing them now. I love these so much. I know they are a running shoe, but I don't run so I can't tell you about that. However, these are a great walking shoe! And stylish, too!
I am absolutely in love with these shoes! I have several pairs in various colors, and hopefully one day I'll have them all! The only issue I came across was the white pair ended up being an off-white, almost yellow color.. This may be a rare fluke, so I'll be exchanging them for an actual white pair, but either way these are awesome shoes! I get so many compliments every single time I wear them! 11/10 recommend them!
I never write reviews but these sneakers are amazing. Super lightweight and comfortable, feels like you're wearing socks. I got the white color and although they got dirty easily (I wear them on the daily), they're super easy to throw in the wash and dry extremely fast. truly worth the money
I have owned Flyknit RN since they came out and they are always comfortable, airy, light, and elegant. However, this last set of colors is a new class of excellence and I ended up buying a few pairs to match my pants. One little problem, across colors they are not all same size: the solid blue is a full half size smaller than the coral and I had to return them; the light blue, just a little smaller; the coral, true to size. go figure!
Can't say anything bad about these. Like everything about them:) I do have to send the two I ordered back because they're too small but I can't wait to get them back in again. I have Nike's in a size 6, 6.5, and 7 and was unsure of which to order in these. I talked with a Nike rep and she suggested a size 6 after I measured my foot (with a sock on) and it was exactly a 6 on the sizing chart. However, I feel like my toes are being smooshed so I'm going to reorder in a size 6.5. If you are between sizes I would suggest ordering the slightly bigger size. Really excited about these flyknits.
My wife suffers from drop foot and swelling. The flyknit is perfect. These shoes fit like socks on both feet despite the swelling. She also loves the style and comfort. We will be buying several more. Thank you!!!
So I'm not going to lie, I bought these in the Crimson Pulse because I thought they looked fly, but when I tried on the shoe, they were amazingly comfortable. The first thing I noticed is how much shock they absorb with every step. I usually have a little bit of a sore knee after a running and a little bit of a bunion that causes some pain. Both those issues were completely unnoticeable on the first wear. I normally run in Free RN 2017's, Free Run Flyknit 4.0's or Juvenates. I run primarily on the treadmill anywhere from 3-10 miles a day. I wore these for the first time and ran 3 miles right away. What a difference! They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever ran in! I felt like I could run longer and faster because I had the shoes on. I tend to get blisters on the back of my heel with many shoes, but not with these. They look absolutely amazing too. The color is poppin'! Also, I wear a larger shoe size and they don't make my feet look big at all. One thing- these RUN SMALL. Get a half size up, for sure. Then they'll be perfect. In all my Nike shoes, I always wear a 10.5 to be perfectly comfortable, and can squeeze into a 10. I had to go to an 11 in these. Can't say how much I love these!
I bought two pairs of these shoes to replace my old pair of the same shoe. They feel the same, the problem is the design of the sole. Every time I go running outside I end up with rocks in soles. At least 7-10 rocks on each shoe. you can feel the small rocks while you are still running and it is super annoying. I wouldn't recommend these shoes until they change the sole of them.
