Frankly, I could easily wear XL for the popular baggy look, L for the regular sweat-short look, and in my case, go exercise so those M shorts get looser! I don't put my Nike clothes in the dryer. I live on the coast. I like to wear shorts & layer a T-shirt & sweatshirt on sunny winter days. The young girls do, too. These are perfect!
