Love this coat--makes me much more willing to get out of the house in winter. I looked at down coats on the Internet and chose this one as the best, and was delighted to find it with you at such a great price.
Best winter jacket I’ve ever opened. I’m 5’7” Great length, just below the knee. I ordered a navy large. Fits to my figure, true to size, great color. Keeps me warm on those frigid mid-western days. Seriously, the only thin cold is whatever the jacket doesn’t cover!!

Love this coat!! 2nd one I purchased for my daughter!! Great fit!! She had outgrown this coat and wanted the same one!!
I bought two jackets for my twin daughters and they absolutely love them. Very warm without looking bulky. Diagonal stitching gives a more slimming look. Both girls are 5’5’’ 120# and a small is perfect.
I love this jacket. It is very warm which is the reason I bought it. I recommend sizing up. I’m usually a small and had to exchange to a medium. It fit better in the hips and covered my hands better. My only complaint about this jacket is it doesn’t have fleece cuffs on the sleeves. It’s open.
Love the length, i'm 5'6 and the length is great, not too short or long. I also enjoy the side buttons. The sleeves were a good length. I like that the hood is removable and I love how warm and cozy it is! The only this is that I bought a medium (wear s/m/36b on top and size m/8 bottoms) and it was too big. So I did have to return for a smaller size.
I got the small at first but it was really big and felt more like a medium. The xs is perfect because I still have room for a thick sweater or hoodie.
I like this jacket for its style and length. Since I'm kinda short, it's longer on me (a little past my knees) than on the model in the picture. Which is fine because it keeps my thighs warm. I love that it has deep and warm pockets as well as a pocket at the left chest. Makes it so that I don't have to carry a purse. I also like that the hood is removable for days that I don't need it. And it's great that the hood can be secure in case of lots of wind.
The only thing I don't like about this is that it's not warm enough. I notice that there isn't that much down filling making it easy for cold air to penetrate through. I wore this in 18 degree weather and walked for a little over 5 minutes and I got goosebumps on my arms. This is really disappointing considering how expensive this jacket is and how good of a reputation Patagonia has.
I also wanna note that customer service at Scheels is wonderful. I contacted them multiple times about different things and they were so patient and helpful. Their employees are super friendly with great attitudes.
I frequently tell my husband that I want to be buried in this coat. I'm not entirely joking about that, either. This is going on my third winter with this coat and so far, it's held up wonderfully. This coat is so warm and comfortable but doesn't overheat you to the point that you get sweaty. If you want a coat that keeps you incredibly warm but you can still wear inside a store for 30 minutes and still be comfortable, this is the coat for you.
I love Patagonia and this coat was really nice quality, and I would have loved it if it was about 5 in shorter. It came below my knees and I felt was an odd length. And I’m 5’6 so not a short lady. It also ran big. I usually wear M-L and I prob could have gone with a small. Which isn’t a problem just FYI. I feel like Patagonia doesn’t pay much attn to making flattering women’s clothing. Their coats always seem big in the arms and chest like they are men’s sizes. But they have the loveliest colors and if they had more flattering fits I would buy everything
I have been looking for this coat for awhile and decided to order it when it was on sale. The quality is great - I have only worn it once, and it was really warm. I am sure I will get a lot of use out of it come January and February in Chicago.
This jacket is amazing. I got it for $200 because Scheels had a deal that beat any other deal online at the time I purchased. I ordered on a Friday and had the jacket by Tuesday (and I live on the east coast). 10/10 jacket, 10/10 experience.
I bought this coat for my 2 daughters in college, and a friend of theirs has one as well. All 3 have commented on the warmth of the coat, the fit, which allows room for layering, length of arms as well as versatility for dressing up or being casual. Well worth every penny!!
