I used this product for running. Though I should have bought the shoes 1/2 size bigger. The toe front was really rigid when first worn, causing my big toe to bruise. The pull tab at the top of the tongue protruded too much, causing it to rub against by skin when I run, so I trimmed it off. Otherwise the shoes have great cushion and bounce when I run. I was not expecting blings on the shoes, not a desired style for me as an adult, otherwise the design and color of the shoes fit my need.
The last pair of D'lites that I bought were so comfortable. I wore them for over a year and had no problems. The new pair I just received hurt my feet daily and are not breathable whatsoever. Not really happy with this pair at all. I use them for work because I'm a mail carrier and I'm on my feet all day. By the end of the day I just want to burn my shoes.
not enough room for big toes. rounded front needs 2B angled
I love the old version of the the Go Walk 4's. So I am not against SKETCHERS. Disappointed about the fit on this shoe as I tried it on in the store in a different color and walked around for quite a while to make sure they felt good. I am picky about the fit of my shoes. they look great though!
I finally have 2 pairs of Skechers as I bought a pair last year. Now I can use the old pair to walk and work out in and keep the new pair clean and perfect for school wear. As a teacher, I like that Skechers have a little bit of a platform and gives your height a little boost.
I have been wearing skechers for years- super comfortable. However, D'lites are horrible. Purchased size I always wear, they are fine until about 10 minutes into wear. Then the ball of the foot starts to feel tight. Very stiff and hard to break in. I would never buy this style again. In fact after only a few wears they will probably be donated. There is something totally different in the design of D'lites that makes them very uncomfortable and not a good choice/
This is the 6th pair, I think, of D'Lites I have had. They are very comfortable and last. My "new" ones I wear to work and places, then use the older ones when I don't want to get my new ones dirty. I have 4 pairs in my closet now (including the slip-on ones). I'm not a shoe purchaser but when I find one I like I get a couple.
Purchased these shoes as a gift for my sister who is 4" foot 8". She had seen the shoes advertised on t.v. and said she had to have them. Noted she is in her sixties! She was so excited and immediately loved them and said she could not wait to show her friends with a comment of "Oh" these old things when she started receiving compliments.
These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I wear them every day to work. I had a pair very similar and wanted the same after the others were no longer wearable to work. The only down side is that apparently they only come in wide width, which I do not need. I did not catch that on the website as most colors were available in regular width. I just lace them a little tighter and that is working so far.
I had a pair of shoes similar to these back when they were "in fashion" but failed to get another pair before they went out of style. By that time, I had worn mine out and wished I had another pair to switch into but could not find anyone selling that style. I was glad to see I could purchase another pair and will likely get a second (or third) pair before this happens to me twice in one lifetime!
