The fabric blend is soft and lightweight, plus with the wool's natural odor-resistance, you can wear it for days at a time. I have worn this a ton over the last five months in the Utah desert on hiking and backpacking trips. My only complaint is that the fabric is a little too thin and after so many wears and washes (I always wash cold and hang dry), it is now so thin that it is almost see-through and small holes are appearing. It's a bummer to only get 5-6 months of use out of a piece that is almost $100. I sized down to a small (I'm 5'7\" athletic build) so I can wear it under a vest or puffy jacket when needed, and it's a perfect fit and has some stretchiness. It's neither clingy nor boxy. I got it for our upcoming treks in Nepal and Peru, and I think it will be perfect. The Merino-liocel-spandex blend is buttery soft and I haven't needed to launder it after several uses.
