These are, literally, my ONLY shoes. They are a dark color, so to dress up I wear black pants and socks with them. I wore them all over Africa and Europe. I hike, walk, and raft in them. They cushion your arch, and the heel strap is very gentle, so these are great if you have tendon or plantar problems.
Loved the first pair I bought a couple of years ago, I've purchased two other colors. They are virtually the only sandals I wear once the weather is warm enough. Great support, comfortable, cute colors, durable, good value for the money.
I use these shoes everyday here in San Diego. I have what is affectionately called "chemo-feet" so I wanted a shoe that was durable, supported my high arch, and had adjustable straps so I know they are securely on my feet when perhaps I can't feel the bottom of my feet so well! I am thrilled with this choice!
I have at least 10 pair of these Tirra shoes... due to lymphadema in right hand & foot. I wear them every day of my life after trying many other shoes. My feet do get cold in winter but I'm so thankful for them. The only problem I would say is that the straps could be another 1/2" longer to cover the UGLY velcro that shows if you have to leave the strap open for a wider foot space underneath; they used to be longer when I first started using them. I'm ordering a couple spares to put on my shelf.
I now have these sandals in three colors so I can be comfortable in my entire summer wardrobe. Wearing these sandals prevents the knee and hip pain that I experience with some shoes. Reliable, comfortable, stylish and long lasting - they are terrific!
These are hands down the best and most comfortable shoes I have ever owned...not just sandals, shoes, period. Mine finally died after 6 years of constant use. From early spring to late fall these were my only shoes I wore ( unless it was to a wedding...and even then these went to a couple of those). I got them when I started working at a nature preschool...so they saw their fair share of mud puddles, hiking trails and playgrounds in every kind of weather. I never had an issue with them...oh and moving, they stood up to several moves. (In the end they even lasted for an extra week being duck taped while completing their final move) so well worth the money!
I really like these sandals because I have exceedingly wide feet and I can adjust the straps so that they fit me. Also, there is no thong between the two first toes and that makes them more comfortable as well.
I tend to be hard on my shoes - usually I'm lucky if a pair of sandals lasts a year without the sole wearing down. My previous pair of Teva sandals lasted four years, and in the end it was the velcro that wore out first. Impressive. I didn't hesitate to buy another pair of these to replace them.
I loved everything about these sandals - the grip, the straps, the color, the footbed - just amazing! Unfortunately they seem to run about a half size too short (my toes didn't dangle over the edge of the shoe, but they were right up against the edge, and since I was going to be using these for river and cave hiking, I was very concerned about stubbing those toes). Sadly they're going back, and I'm already at an 11 (they don't make 11.5 or even 12), so it looks like I'm SOL. Very bummed.
My daughter wore these all summer. They were comfortable and supportive, but they to started to smell bad after a few days of all-day wearing. I don't know what "Microban" is, but it does not "ban" bad smells.
Great for wearing around, getting wet or even hiking in the mountains. Has good support. I do wish the strap nearest the toes could tighten down more, the velcro is to short. Also they do make your feet a little stinky after all day.
These are my everyday sandals and I LOVE THEM!! Once summer hits I love to wear sandals, but chasing after 4 kids in flip flops is not an option. These are my go to summer shoe! They are cute, but offer so much support so my feet don't hurt at the end of the day.
I wore these everyday in Europe for 3 weeks straight! Cobblestones, mountain paths, even INTO the Adriatic!! My feet never hurt, sandals never faltered! I wore a pedometer and averaged about 18,000 steps a day! It doesn't get any better!
Until you put the back on them. I have these in the slide without the back and they are the best. I can wear them all day and never tire. I tried these and sadly returned them. Please consider bringing back the slide without the back. Thank you.
My 2nd pair of Tevas. My 1st pair saw my through a decade of trekking around Europe and the U.S. in great all day comfort. Alas, I threw them out this year, but only because they were looking a little shabby. I certainly got my money's worth!
I bought my Teva Tirra's on an end-of-the-year sale while we were on vacation five years ago, and I have worn them every day, all day, from April through October. I've walked all over Italy, all over Manhattan, on the beach, in the rain, hiking through forests and rivers and trails, I even wear them while cycling. My feet never hurt, I've never had a blister...these are the best shoes I've ever owned. But after five years, it's time for a new pair of Tirras since I have literally worn the sole out. I put these shoes up against any other pair you've got for longevity, comfort and practicality. And my feet even look cute in them!
I've had a pair of these sandals sine 2013, and they are now coming to the end of their lifespan in 2018. Overall, I can be pretty hard on my shoes, but these sandals have lasted me very well over the past 5 years. The soles are comfortable (even after several hours), the straps adjust nicely and don't chafe, and the tread is great for a variety of terrains. They also have great arch support.
I bought these for my mom for her birthday and she absolutely loves them. She walks every day for exercise and went for a walk in them the very first day she received them. She told me they so comfortable.
This is the second pair of Tevas for me. Most sandals are too wide. These can be adjusted for a great fit and support the arch in my foot. They are the ONLY sandals I ever had that are actually comfortable. Would definitely recommend these.
Comfortable right out of the box, great for all conditions
The sandal feels great ever since first putting it on, and the excellent deep tread on the sole is perfect for wet pavement or mud, which is a desirable thing in New England. I don't have to worry about slipping, yet my feet are nice and cool on hot rainy summer days. Oh and the straps cover bunions! It's exactly what I wanted and I'm bowled over that it needed no breaking in whatsoever. I live in these right now.
I wore the Tirra style Tevas every day as inside shoes. The velcro is set at a slightly loose fit so I can slip the back strap over my heel to put them on each time. Over many months, the outer straps and soles are still looking fine, but the inside heel strap (appears to be soft neoprene fabric) is in shreds. Wish it wore better. As far as fit, they are very comfortable, fit my feet perfectly and have good support on hard surfaces.
The sole is a little stronger than the traditional teva design. It can withstand intermediate terrain. The extra straps offer a little more support without sacrificing ventilation. The color is great it matches with most things. it's very comfortable to walk in all day.
