It's super convenient for traveling and works great as a personal item for flights in the U.S. or abroad. There's tons of space for my laptop, tablet, wallet, keys, and headphones. I also love that there's extra room at the bottom for things like an extra pair of shoes or wet items like swimwear - it's one of those features you don't realize you need until you have it. The side pockets are a big plus too; they easily hold two large water bottles.\n\nThe only things I wasn't thrilled about were the color and material. I ordered the sage green shade expecting the color shown online, but in person, it looks more silver than green. The material also feels thinner compared to my old TNF Surge backpack, which held up for years through high school and college, and is now my work bag. The back panel pocket in the main compartment perfectly fit my iPad Pro 13 that I used to take notes. I tend to overpack, but this bag never felt too cramped. On some days, I'm out of the house for over 16 hours, so I'll pack like it's an overnight bag. While I don't usually carry my MacBook to work, I like to use the dedicated laptop compartment for important paperwork and my report sheets.\n\nAt 5'9, I appreciate how the bag fits my frame. I love its simple, sleek style—I've even gotten compliments on it. The interior organization is just right for my needs. Best of all, I don't feel like I have to baby it. I have the black version, and it's held up well through moderate use 5–6x/wk in different environments.
