The bottom of the soles of these shoes wear unevenly & eventually make them look awful & harder to wear. The top of the shoes besides being dirty still looks great but the sole has not lasted. I have a handful of Uggs and I always get my true size, as well as in this style (sz 9). I can see why some suggest sizing down, they do conform/stretch a bit over time. What stretch I have ever noticed in any of my Uggs has been minimal, but I don’t wear each pair often. I love these platforms! But the one thing I don’t care for is the lift in the heel. It’s not with every step, but when it happens it is frustrating….but they’re so comfy that I decided to treat it like a clog. If you think it’s going to drive you nuts, you may want to reconsider this style. For me, sizing down wouldn’t have helped. My heel hits right where it should. I could see sizing down if your true size is a 1/2 size, but in my opinion, a whole a size might be too much. Like any other slippers the front of your bigger foot will look a lil weird, at least to me. But I'm hyper aware of things. I usually wear a 7 in regular shoes but I got an 8 and they are perfect. If you are used to ugg slippers you know this. Overall spring time is the best time for these, make sure you spray them with a suede and leather protectant!
