I just finished running the Pittsburgh half marathon and ran it in these shoes. They were supportive and comfortable the entire 13.1 miles! I would move a half size up in fit. I usually wear a 9 but wear a 9.5 in these. Very cushioned and nice toe box.
I absolutely love these shoes. They look great, fit great, super comfy. However, I've only had them for 2 1/2 months after 100 miles the shoes told me I've already used 25% of their "life expectancy". I don't know how long the sensors in these will be good for, but i wasn't expecting to have to buy a new pair of shoes every 400 miles.
I’ve tried to take up running so many times, but always gave up due to various pains in the foot/legs after the initial few runs (I did follow progressive overload principle and didn’t try doing too much too soon). Recently, a friend (who works at a specialty running shoe store) took videos of me running and made some suggestions as far the type of shows I may try. I got the Sonic 2 based on her recommendation. Lo and behold, after 2 weeks of running I have absolutely NO ill effects. Amazing what a properly fitting shoe can do for you (granted one runs with proper form). I needed a little bit of arch support, some cushioning, but not a ton. So Sonic 2 was a perfect fit for me. I did have to order 1/2 size up though from the regular shoes I wear. I have a wide foot and the shoe is not constricting. The Bluetooth sensor in the right shoe gives valuable data about my cadence, stride length and much more via MapMyRun app. Hopefully soon the app will allow to track indoor cycling cadence for these shoes. Bottom line - it’s a winner in my book. So much so that I got a second pair!
Love, love, love my UA HOVR Sonic 2 running shoe. I am a nurse always on my feet and they are the most comfortable shoe I have experienced. In addition they look very sharpe and I get mega compliments. No regrets
I just picked these up at a Sports Chek. I typically wear 6.5-7 ladies depending on the brand. The 7 in this shoe was a good fit. I have a bit of a wide step, so this was one of 3 that was a comfortable fit. I tried on a lot of shoes too! I will be using them in the gym and for running. I wanted a white shoe and like how these look. My feet have high arches and there’s just enough support in these. Pretty happy with my purchase!
I purchased these right before a half marathon because I was getting blisters with other shoes. I took these right out of the box on race day and my feet have thanked me since. They are snug but not tight and I had zero blisters or complaining about my feet right after this run. I will forever use these shoes. I have had an issue with the mapmyfitness app syncing my run to get splits and staying logged in with the free MVP that comes with the shoes but I blame the app rather than the shoe. I can really see my running improve in the future with these shoes.
i ordered these shoes online after looking around at different options for bluetooth running shoes. i liked the style and features so i took a risk and ordered shoes without trying them on first. i really liked them from the moment i opened the package. nice look, really supportive where it was needed and super light weight. i use them on the treadmill and it is very accurate with my information. i like seeing runs and how i can improve my stride. i recommend these shoes in general especially for runners.
The shoes are nice, I like the black and white design. I wish the shoes would track my steps whether I'm running, working out or not, but I like the capability. They're a bit tight on the top of my feet (I have wide feet) but very cushiony on the bottom sole. Overall a great pair of shoes. I would just like better capability with the bluetooth app as far as step-tracking and whatnot, as well as an availability for wide sizes.
These are very nice! They almost hit every mark for me. The descriptions like lightweight, breathability and comfort are pretty accurate. The shoes look slightly different than pictured. I had to compare what I received to my order history to make sure it's the correct shoe. Mostly the toe is more round and the black and grey colors aren't nearly as vibrant as pictured online. I'm a consistent 8.5 in shoe size, but these are slightly running small. My right foot has a tingle. I'm not sure whether due to sizing, but I also tried them with a thinner sock. The width is a perfect hug to my foot, but the length could be a tad longer. I will try going up a 1/2 size next time. I ran twice in one day which says a lot for me! I love the connectivity. Super easy to setup bluetooth options. Once in mapmyrun app it is easy to navigate the workout start, pause, and end. I am still working on finding the coaching details though.
