I have been very please with Yeti all around. I have had a couple of zipper issues and without any problem yeti has always been there to help me with them! Their customer service is A+ and always friendly! I have purchased many different products through yeti and always been very very pleased! Will refer yeti to anyone I see!!
I have used this bracket for about three weeks straight, previously I had only used it during long distance travel. It worked well until today when the cooler fell over and the bracket slipped or pulled out of the cooler. This is only good for keeping the cooler locked to something but it should apparently be tied down to keep it from tipping over and sliding around.
I bought this product to put on a yeti 45 quart cooler that I had bought after my previous yeti was stolen. Slap a lock and a chain on that thing and it gives me peace of mind when I park my truck that it is going to be right where I left it. And it prevents my cooler from going anywhere when we decide to take the fun off road.
I bought this recentlyfor a tie down it has a cable lock on my yeti roadie in the bed of my truck when I’m driving and hit a curve it will fall over and the bracket will pull out of the slot in the cooler very often this problem should be improved
I didn't expect this to work on my cooler. It seemed quite small and insignificant for something that's supposed to keep your cooler from getting stolen. However, I paired it with a coated chain and locked it to the bed of my truck. You'd really have to work at it to get the cooler free. Chances are, you'd be caught before you got the cooler.
Bought 2 of these to secure 2 Tundra 250s to each of my boats. Initially thought they would be kind of thin and flimsy. Once I received them, figured out they would do the job. It would take a grinder to be able to cut these!!
I bought this to secure a new YETI Tundra in the open bed of my pickup truck. It works perfectly! I run a ski-lock cable through the bracket and through one of the rear tie-downs in the bed. Viola! It's not going anywhere!
Bought two locking brackets a month ago to protect my yeti tundra 65 when I'm not around it (when it's on my hitch cargo rack, when I'm camping, etc,. I have not yet used it, as it's currently winter in northern Wisconsin, but appears to be made of thick quality metal and appears it will do exactly what it's mean to do. I'm sure I won't be disappointed when I finally use it.
Great that the hole in the bracket is big enough for a 3/8" chain. I had a cable on my 65, and it got cut. Putting on a 3/8 high tensile chain, going to lock it up like a junk yard dog! Going to need a grinder next time!
I bought two of these prior to my most recent fishing trip and thank goodness I did! I carry my cooler in a hitch mounted cargo rack and usually just tie it down but never again! I went into a supermarket for just a few minutes and when I came back my cooler had been noticeably moved. Someone had clearly done this and if not for the locking bracket I’m positive my cooler would be gone THANKS AGAIN YETI FOR YOUR AWESOME-NESS!!!
Everything Yeti makes comes with that intangible factor - you just know that care and attention to detail was paid in the design and fabrication of their products. I originally bought a knock-off version of this exact product, but was very unhappy with the quality. In the end, Yeti is a company I do not mind supporting with a couple extra bucks, especially when there's such a difference in workmanship.
