If you regularly find yourself in the wilderness on long hunting or fishing trips the YETI Tundra 250 commercial-grade cooler is your new best friend. Going by sea? It's the perfect marine cooler for offshore sport or commercial fishing. It's big enough to hold wahoo tuna and amberjack and the integrated tie-down slots keep your catch in place. The UV-resistant polyethylene material won't fade or crack from being in the sun all day. Or month. Or year. Going by land? This hunting ice chest lets you pile in a quartered moose elk or several deer and the freezer-style gasket means your meat will stay fresh the whole trip.
The YETI Tundra 250 marine cooler also likes to party - its recommended 155-can capacity makes it the best cooler to use as a beer trough for tailgates weddings barn dances or especially awesome baby showers. No matter how you use it the rugged design and pressure-injected insulation mean this heavy-duty cooler will be keeping your stuff cold time after time after time.
I bought this cooler a couple weeks ago and finally got to use it for the first time yesterday. It kept all the drinks cold forever, in fact they are probably still cold a day later! Glad I was able to make this purchase, and wished I ordered one sooner!
We installed our Yeti on our swim platform on the back of our boat using the chock mounts and straps. It holds on great while underway. we packed it full of food drinks and ice and it keeps everything super cold. Its like opening a fridge even after 5 days out in the heat of summer. Absolutely loving it!
As a professional hunting guide this is one of the most important piece of gear we have. It is large enough to fit most of a quartered and hocked elk. The most important thing... It will keep meat cool for more than a few days. Possibly more depending on weather. This leaves you with more of your valuable time on the mountain instead of running to town for more ice or taking the meat to a locker. The only downside is it can take an army of guides and clients to move a full cooler but that only means you've accomplished your mission!
It’s is the ultamite cooler. It has more space then I’ll ever need. It’s tough and well built. I was able to build a wagon to push it around so it’s easier to take it anywhere even when I fill it with beer and all the fish I catch.
Purchased the Yeti 250 about a month or so ago and it proved to be exactly what I need. The room inside is plenty big to put a quartered elk inside and keep it cool during the early archery season. Well built, sturdy and rugged! Fits perfectly in the bed of the truck, width wise.
I bought my yeti cooler in order to keep my groceries cold for a week at a time. Only a few weeks after buying it I noticed that the lid started to warp. I was not 100% sure why this was happening but now my yeti no longer has a vacuum seal. If I would’ve known this I would have not spent the money on getting a yeti 250.
