The YETI Tundra® 35 is the right size for personal hauls or food for a small crew. It boasts up to three inches of PermaFrost™ Insulation and a rugged rotomolded construction for optimum adventure performance. And it fits nicely in an inner tube, making it the perfect, portable cooler to take tubing down the river.
I bought this cooler at the beginning of the summer... After multiple weekend trips up to remote Appalachian streams in the hot summer months ice held for the entire weekend and was nice to come back to camp after a long day of fly fishing and have some cold drinks! Thanks Yeti!
Took my 35 to the beach around 7am to watch the local airshow. Zero shade. Few buddies brought coolers so I figured I'd let them have what little shade we had. By 1pm, their coolers in the shade were all 50% or more melted. My Yeti in the 90 degree direct sun light still looked basically brand new (minus a few beers.
It should also be noted that I did pre cool overnight with about 10 pounds of ice, and started off with cold beers. Spend the 30 seconds of prepping your Yeti properly, and you'll be rewarded with significantly better ice retention.
I use my charcoal 35 almost daily for short trips and it works great! I don’t use the dry goods basket since it sits so deep in the cooler and hits the tops of water bottles but I’m not worried about that. I love yeti products!
I bought this cooler about a month ago and it's been great, I've taken it on a couple of days to the lake in the Texas heat and both times I've been able to save a lot of ice that did not melt for later reuse. It is priced as if it were made in the US, which is not, but if you can find it with a little discount, it is worth it.
Absolutely awesome cooler the 26ft Glacier bay we use for fishing. we have 2 on the boat for customer lunches and drinks and they are perfect small enough to stow and move when the bite is hot extra seating when its not. built tough and keeps ice for days!
I bought my new Tundra 35 a few weeks ago and have already used it twice. The construction is extremely solid and kept ice for 4 days AFTER each use! My only criticism is the seadeck pad I purchased for the top. It seams to easily soil and has already scuffed in one area from use. The cooler itself is amazing and every time I’ve brought it out, I’ve gotten compliments!
Bought this to take on a trip to Lake Havasu in the middle of August. We left Friday afternoon with a 20lbs bag of ice in it, hooked it up to our rafts Saturday afternoon so it could float with us, came back Sunday night and Monday morning still has some ice left in it. Defiantly worth every penny.
I bought this to replace our old and gross ice chest we used for camping, in hope that the YETI would provide an extra cold place for our food on our trip. We drove through the Chihuahuan desert, and for 3 days did not replace the ice. The food was still very cold when we finally bought more ice.
Efficient is an understatement! Keeps the drinks and snacks cold for days! The dry goods basket is a great feature. Tan is such an attractive color. I've received so many compliments at the MTB park, camping, at the beach etc. My only regret is waiting so long to purchase. : Can't wait for many more adventures with my YETI!
We bought this Yeti cooler to transport groceries from the store to home during the hot dog days of summer. It hasn't disappointed. We just returned from a 2 week road trip and kept all of beverage and other perishables cold and fresh. Love this cooler.
We were going on a road trip for 4 days. I put a 5 lb bag of ice in it and all our lunch stuff and drinks. I added a single bucket of ice from hotel ice machine the last two nights and drained the water daily. I was pretty impressed! We even had it in the back of a hot car, in the sun, while we were at a professional soccer game. I did as suggested and placed the cooler in the deep freeze for a couple of days before using it. So it was plenty cold when I put the ice in it. The only thing I dont like is the latching system. I find it hard to latch and would rather have a metal latches or something like that. I think the gasket could be a tighter fit too. We are not campers so car trips are what we will use it for.
Yeti coolers are amazing - our recent wave of high humidity and 95+ degree temperatures have not at all affected my coolers ability to keep it cold. My cooler was exposed to the direct sunlight and out in the humidity and heat for days and the contents remained very, very cold and very little of the ice melted. Soon the cooler will be used for tailgating. They work and work very, very well!!
I bought this a few weeks ago as an anniversary gift for my boyfriend. He's been going ON and ON for WEEKS about how much he wants one, the benefits we all would enjoy from having one, the quality, craftsmanship...yadda yadda yadda.
I have to say the price made me balk. They want HOW much for a cooler? I couldn't really believe it or justify the expense until he bought me my own Rambler. I cannot say enough amazing things about the Rambler. Well made, rugged, durable and keeps beverages cold for what seems like forever. I was sold on Yeti products. Yes, they are expensive but you get what you pay for and the quality is unmatched.
We are the proud owners of the Tundra 35 as well as a few other Yeti products (slowly building our collection haha) and I have to say it has held up to multiple fishing trips, camping, road trips and backyard BBQs. (we're active and outdoorsy folks so putting it through it's paces was a must) My only complaint is that we can't afford a bigger one (at least not right now) but definitely could use more space.
I'm a landscaper in Florida. I NEED a good coolerfor work. This thing gets put to the test daily. I don't use it as it's recommended, as it's in the hot sun all day and I'm in it every half hour. However, I still save money on ice. In fact, it will pay for itself within the first year of it's 5 year warranty. Anyone with any common sense can see that it's a SMART purchase. Do yourself a favor and buy one.
I’ve now gone camping for a week in Yosemite and a week in the Great Smoky Mountains and I can say without a doubt this is the best cooler out there. Kept our milk and eggs and juice and meat cold for 6 days! We filled it with groceries, topped it off fully with ice, and that’s all we needed to safeguard our food.
While the Yeti Tundra isn't cheap, you won't be disappointed by your purchase. After receiving my cooler I followed the initial instructions by filling up my Yeti Tundra with ice and pre-chilling my contents. My contents stayed perfectly cold for a week!! I had a small bottle coke, un-opened, that got even colder while in my cooler creating a Coke Slushy!
The July heat in the south is no joke and having a cold refreshment helps keep you hydrated during the "dog days". I could not recommend a better cooler to keep your refreshments cold while working outside especially during this heat.
The Tundra 35 is perfect for storing drinks or snacks for the day for 2-4 people. I spent a full day on the lake with a group of 4 and it had just enough room for us. Thankfully it's not super heavy compared to the larger Tundra's, so we were able to move around with ease. Love it!
This is my fifth Yeti cooler and one of many Yeti products I own, and all I can say is - accept no substitute! Simply the best and indestructible. I look forward to putting this one through the ringer as well and to doing so year after year after year after year after year . . . .
Got this Tundra 35 for my wife for her beach trip. Filled it with nothing but Yeti Ice and the cooler actually froze drinks and kept the mild extremely cold. She said the Yeti stayed cold for 3 days. Not stinking bad.
