Product Description

Unlike ordinary coolers which are essentially disposable YETI® Coolers are made to last! Broken handles busted hinges failed latches caved-in lids cracked corners... sound familiar? If you're like most you've experienced all of these with the coolers you've owned. Even the most expensive ordinary coolers can't take the punishment dished out by the average outdoorsman let alone the pros. That's why they make YETI® Coolers.

YETI® Tundra™ Coolers are built to take the rugged abuse that comes with the way we work and play. Unlike ordinary coolers which are essentially "disposable" a YETI is made to last! Keeping things cold is what a cooler is all about. With thicker walls more than twice the insulation and a full-frame gasket YETI Coolers outperform the competition it's not even close!

Rotational-molded construction makes YETI Coolers virtually indestructible. Roto-molding the same process used to make whitewater kayaks ensures impact resistance and long-term durability. Ordinary coolers are glued together and the seams separate over time. Both the lid and body of a YETI® are built with seamless one-piece construction. YETI® Coolers also meet the USDA's Interagency Grizzly Bear Comittee (IGBC) standards for bear-resistant containers. They have been thoroughly tested in both controlled bear simulations and with wild grizzly bears. With locks in the integrated padlock ports of a YETI® grizzlies get nothing but frustrated.

  • One-piece roto-molded polyethylene construction is extremely durable
  • Constructed of food-grade material that is dry ice compatible and UV resistant
  • A minimum of two inches of YETI®'s polyurethane foam throughout the cooler body (3" in the lid) provides superior insulation
  • Freezer-style sealing gasket locks in the cold
  • T-latch keepers are molded into cooler body which can't fail
  • Full-length self-stopping hinge can't hyper-extend and break
  • Padlock holes are molded into cooler body and lid
  • Non-slip non-marking rubber feet help keep the cooler where you put it
  • Nylon rope and textured grip handles make carrying easier
  • Recessed drain plug and rubber washer guarantee leak-proof reliability
  • Tie-down points are molded into the cooler body for solid mounting
  • Dry goods rack included prevents soggy sandwiches

My favorite large cooler
I use the 105 and 50 the most of all the sizes I have. The taller/deeper design seems to keep ice longer.

Would be 5 Star, but...
First off. This is a great cooler for the avid hunter/fisher. There's nothing better than taking the game you've hunted and knowing that in this cooler it will last 4-5 days. Love it and I honestly think it will last a lifetime with minimal need for replacement parts outside of maybe a drain plug.

That being said, a part replacement i why it's not 5 stars. My hinge pin on one side continues to bend and work itself out of the cooler. It's been this way since I've had it. Yeti customer service was great though and sent out new pins. Bad part is, the new pins even bent.

I use my Tundra whenever I want cold beer, but I primarily bought it for an annual camping trip. We camp on an island in August Heat. No shelter, no electricity. 2 4lb Yeti Ice's keep our Tundra 105 cold for milk, meat and eggs for the entire week.

Exactly what my husband and I needed for our fishing trips! The divider also makes it perfect for putting drinks on one side and fish in the other!

I've wanted a YETI for as long as I can recall. I finally have one! I'm a very outdoors type person: rafting, horse camping, BP'g, we have a lake cabin, etc... Where we go we are often out for 1 week or so with no access to add'l ice and we are typically in bear (black & grizzly country. The Yeti provides us comfort in both of these categories.... My only wish is that I'd purchased it years ago~

Everything you need in a cooler!
I got this cooler as a gift for my dad and he absolutely loves it-- he's been wanting a YETI forever-- "he'll never go back", is what he's said. We were able to take it out last weekend and the food stayed cool the entire weekend with only a few bags of ice. It is rather heavy for an older guy once it's full of food and ice for the weekend, so make sure you've got a buddy to team lift. But other than that, looking forward to many trips to come!

Did what it was supposed to
Bought a Yeti for a trip to Canada. Packed with chilled and frozen items at home. Even after an overnight stay, things were still frozen and/or chilled when we arrived.
