1. What are the shipping options for SCHEELS.com?

SCHEELS products are shipped from our store locations through UPS or USPS, unless specified otherwise as a drop ship or flat rate shipping order. The available shipping options for SCHEELS.com, include the following:

Please note: Any orders placed prior to noon Central Time will be shipped same day or next day and orders processed after 12pm will process the following business day.

  • Ground Shipping: Ground shipping defaults at checkout. Your order is expected to be delivered within 2 to 6 business after the shipment has been picked up by the shipping provider.
    • Please note: The shipping provider is at the discretion of the store location, unless otherwise specified.
  • 2nd Day Shipping: To receive your order in a shorter time frame, 2nd day shipping is the second quickest option. This applies for orders placed Monday-Friday by noon Central Time.
    • Please note: SCHEELS 2nd day shipping is not available for all items and does not apply for weekend deliveries. If orders are ready to ship late Friday, they will not process until the following business day, which can lead into the following week.
  • Next Day Shipping: To receive your order in the shortest time frame, next day shipping is the quickest option. This applies for orders placed Monday-Friday by noon Central Time.
    • Please note: SCHEELS next day shipping is not available for all items does not apply for weekend deliveries. If orders are ready to ship on Friday afternoon, they will not process until the following business day, which can lead into the following week.

2. How do I apply current promotions to my order? Are there any restrictions?

Current promotions at SCHEELS.com, including free shipping over a specified dollar amount etc., will automatically be applied at checkout. The following restrictions apply:

  • Products must meet the current requirements of the promotion
    • The current promotional requirement is $50 minimum order total
    • Please note: Free shipping does not apply for flat rate shipping
  • Only applies for ground shipping
  • Maximum shipping credit up to $25
    • Please note: Shipping costs over $25 will be the responsibility of the customer.
  • When ordering large, heavy or bulk items, shipping costs will apply based on shipping provider calculations to determine shipping rates.
    • Please note: If an order is placed with one qualifying item and one ineligible item, the ineligible item will still incur a shipping charge.

3. What are SCHEELS.com shipping restrictions?

SCHEELS.com shipping restrictions include the following:

  • 2nd Day shipping and next day shipping does not apply to weekend delivery
  • Orders are not shipped on the following holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, the day after Christmas, and New Years Day.
  • Regulated items by the US Department of Transportation, including batteries, aerosols, ammunition and inflatables, may not be shipped via air transport and must be shipped using ground transport.
  • Weather events and unexpected circumstances can also occasionally delay delivery.
  • All weekday orders placed prior to 12 noon (CST) are usually shipped within one business day, provided items are in stock. Any orders placed after 12PM will process the following business day.

4. Where can I ship my SCHEELS.com order?

SCHEELS.com only ships to any of the 50 states, PO Boxes, and APO/FPO addresses. If there is any conflict verifying an address, we will always make every effort to contact you. The following restrictions apply:

  • Hawaii and Alaska may have higher shipping charges
  • At this time, international shipping is not available, including U.S. Protectorates, Guam, Virgin Islands, and Canada.
  • All P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO orders will be shipped via USPS or UPS SurePost (2nd Day Shipping and Next Day Shipping does not apply). Additionally, we may be unable to ship oversized items to these addresses.
  • Orders cannot be shipped to multiple locations

5. How are SCHEELS.com Gift Cards or E-Gift Cards shipped?

When you place an order for a SCHEELS.com gift card or e-gift card, the following guidelines apply:

  • E-Gift Card Orders:
    • E-Gift cards will be delivered via the recipient's email address
    • Please note: If your e-gift card was not delivered to the recipient's email address, please contact our SCHEELS.com customer service team for a replacement.
  • Physical Gift Card Orders:
    • Physical gift card orders must be placed before noon Central Time for same day shipping
    • Gift cards are shipped by envelope through the United States Postal Service (USPS).
    • Standard shipping applies (5-7 business days) for physical gift card
    • Tracking is not provided with standard shipping on physical gift card orders
    • For tracking to be added to your physical gift card order, you must expedite the shipping for an upcharge.
    • Please note: If your physical gift card order has not arrived within the standard shipping time frame, 5 to 7 business days, please contact our SCHEELS.com customer service team for a replacement.

6. What are the shipping and handling charges?

When ordering heavier items, be sure to pay close attention to the shipping and handling details on your order summary. Shipping promotions may not cover the full cost of your order shipping.


7. How do I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email from SCHEELS.com with UPS or USPS tracking information. If your order is a special order, drop ship order, flat rate shipping order or a large/heavy product, you may receive tracking from a different shipping provider. The following applies:

  • Shipping emails will include UPS or USPS tracking information
  • If you have a SCHEELS.com registered user account, your tracking information will be added to your account. You must be logged into your account, then click the 'My Account' tab. Within that page, there is an 'Order History' section where tracking numbers for placed orders can be viewed.
  • Please note: Drop ship orders, special orders and flat rate shipping orders have a standard shipping time frame of 2 to 4 weeks. If you do not receive your order or a shipping confirmation email within this time frame, please contact our SCHEELS.com customer service team for further details.

8. What if I didn’t receive my order?

On occasion, we will have a package returned to us as undeliverable. In such circumstances, the following applies:

  • We will attempt to notify you via email of the delivery failure and make one attempt to ship a replacement.
  • If we are unable to reach you, your order will be refunded in full. If you feel an order may have been deemed undeliverable, you should be notified of its status as soon as possible in order for us to assist you.
  • If you item is stolen or damaged, please contact our SCHEELS.com customer service team and we will file a claim with UPS or USPS and make an immediate replacement.

9. How can I cancel my order?

If you would like to cancel your SCHEEL.com order, please contact our SCHEELS.com customer service team. The following applies:

  • Your order can be canceled if it has not already shipped
  • If you order has shipped, you will need to wait until the product arrives to the designated address. Once you receive the product, a free return label and packing slip will be emailed to you to process the return or exchange.
  • For further details on the return and exchange process, please review our return policy.
  • Please note: Everything you buy at SCHEELS, on sale or otherwise, is guaranteed satisfactory or your money back. You don’t take chances at SCHEELS… ever.

10. How do I view order history?

If you have a SCHEELS.com registered user account, your order history will be recorded. You must be logged into your account, then click the 'My Account' tab. Within that page, there is an 'Order History' section where tracking numbers for placed orders can be viewed.


11. Tips to ensure the safe delivery of your package?

Please double-check your address for accuracy. In some cases (expensive merchandise, neighborhood restrictions, apartments), you will need to pick up your package at a designated location if no one is available at the time of delivery. Watch for a UPS or USPS label on your doorstep area alerting you that the package has arrived and is ready to be picked up.

13. How do I Buy Online Pick Up In Store?

Our Buy Online Pick Up In Store service allows you to purchased products at SCHEELS.com and pick up in store at your nearest SCHEELS location. To place a Buy Online Pick Up order, follow the steps below:

  • On the product page, select check nearby store
  • Find your nearest SCHEELS location and check for in stock availability
  • Select quantity
  • Select add to cart for in store pick up
  • Select the shopping cart in the upper right hand corner and proceed to checkout
  • Sign-in to your registered user account or checkout as guest
  • Verify store and select continue to billing information
  • Once you’ve proceed your payment, you will receive an order confirmation and a final confirmation will be sent within the next hour (at most) once your order is ready for in store pick up.
  • Please note: Gift cards are not available for Buy Online Pick Up In Store

14. How do I place a special order at a SCHEELS store location?

Please visit or contact one of our store locations for details on shipping from one of SCHEELS’ 26 locations.

  • Please note: Special orders have a standard shipping time frame of 2 to 4 weeks to ship. If you do not receive a shipping email or further updates on an order, please contact the SCHEELS location that placed the order.

15. When is the guaranteed holiday shipping deadline?

During the holiday season as orders rapidly increase, please keep track of our holiday shipping deadlines to receive your order on time. The following applies for all orders:

  • All orders must be placed by December 19th for guaranteed holiday shipping
  • Please keep in mind special orders can take 2 to 4 weeks to ship
