Even though they came waterproof I did still give them an extra spray. It would be great if these were offered as 8 inch for more ankle stability. Having a 4E option would be a great option for those people such as myself who have wider feet and 1/2 sizes as well up to maybe a 13-1/2. You know alot of manufacturers don't realize that alot of us blue collar people have bigger feet cause we're on or feet all day and comfort is key. I have been using the soft toe 6 inch wedge for the past year and half. I decided to try the 90 degree heel for winter to possibly help with traction. \nMaybe it’s just me being used to the wedge style, but 3 days into the week and I have to switch out of the heeled version. They seem to kill my ankles and knees. The fit is great, just the heeled version kills me. I ordered these Keen boots on a recommendation from a colleague, and they fit better than any other boot I’ve ever had. These are actually comfortable, which is almost foreign to me at this point. Break in time was minimal. The insole insert is fine, but for me I need that extra arch support, so I put a different insole in the boot to accommodate that. The boot feels better now. The is plenty of room a I also got the wide ones. I been wearing for about two and a half weeks and are working and feeling good to me.
