The quality was good, the contrasting zipper color was weird. Do not buy this jacket unless you have really long arms. I am proportional and the sleeves were way too long. I bought a M and a L size. The medium fit better except it was tight through the hip area. The L fit, except for the extra long sleeves but it looked dowdy! If you buy the River Blue color, do not expect that the color will look like it does online. I opened the package and the first thing that popped out of my mouth was \"They're so dark!\" The color is more like a spruce green. So, I'm 5' 6.5\" tall, weigh 153. Buy this if your arms are long. Needless to say, the fleece lining is nice on the inside and is inside the arms as well as the body. The shoulder area is a bit small, especially if you want to layer it with a sweater. I did like the length. Should not have sized up.","text":"I ordered this jacket for an upcoming cruise to Alaska. Based on several customer reviews, I side up to an XL. I normally wear a medium or large in shirts/jackets. My thought was that I should order the XL, since I most often order a large in rain jackets to allow room for layering. The XL was actually so large, that I’m a little hesitant to order a large. I could possibly size down to a medium. For reference, I am 58 years old, 5’7”, and currently weigh 183 lbs. A little frumpy if you size up but it does the job. The only real cons I found were the adjustable drawcord placement in the hood is really annoying. Before or after you tighten the drawcord, the loop/excess cord rubs up and protrudes against your face and it can be irritating. I feel like they should have made a little material flap the cord could hide behind or something.
