I don't know that I see enough value to buy a computer but with the bluetooth capability assume it can work with an app on my iphone. The problem is, nowhere here does it say what the options (much less recommended options) might be, just that it doesn't work with Strava. Nor is there a place to ask a question that I could see, so I'm just posting this here in the hope that a rep might provide this information which surely isn't just of interest to me and is otherwise lacking on either the product page or in the manual (at least that I could see). Installed it on the chainstay behind the seat; its arm is long enough to reach in to the magnet, which is a longer reach than on my road bike. The computer (Bontrager Ridetime Elite) at the front of the trike recognized it automatically and instantly. So it just works. No buttons to push, just start rolling and it reads my speed. Easy to relocate to a different position or bike. Due to the thickness of the swing arm I didn't think I was going to be able to make it work. I eventually was able to get the sensor in the correct position and it is currently working very well and I am happy with the sensor and the Bontrager trip 300 computer.
