The foundation of Traxstech's Ultimate Fishing System is its anodized aluminum mounting tracks with a grooved interior design. Once installed, our mounting track system for boats allows rod holders, downriggers, and other marine electronics to be easily slid into the track. Once in place, the star-shaped thumb screws just need to be tightened to secure any accessories in place.

60 inch Track additional feature: The cut-out in the center of these tracks serves a convenient purpose by providing an access point for easily inserting or removing accessories at the middle of the track. This design feature can save time and effort by not requiring users to slide accessories through the entire length of the track to make adjustments or add/remove items.

Additionally, there are holes in the cut-out area that can be used to install end caps (*Please note: End Caps are Sold Separately). These end caps serve multiple functions: Security: They help in securing the accessories within the track by preventing them from accidentally sliding out. Protection: End caps can protect the edges of the cut-out area, preventing any damage or wear and tear that might occur over time. Aesthetics: End caps can also give a more finished appearance to the track system.

Manufacturer Note:
Traxstech Aluminum backer plates are recommended if you are going to install a downrigger or have thin walls on your boat. The added support from a backer plate is recommended for our 6", 12", 18", and 24" mounting tracks. Our longer tracks usually do not require a backer plate because they spread the strength out over the length of the track. (*Please note: Backer Plates are Sold Separately).
