My wife and I like to play pickleball so we decided to give it a try and it's been a blast for our family and all the friends we've played it with now. \n\nMy 9 year old loves to play it with the family—our focus when playing with her is on keeping the game going and that's a lot of fun for all of us. When I'm playing with my friends it gets competitive and the game takes on a new personality—their teenaged kids will almost always join in and it's just a great time. I will say that it takes most people we teach it to a good 5-10 minutes to catch the hang of it (it helps if you think \"Serve, then: bump, set, smash\"), but man after that, it's such a great game.
