Superb fit and finish.","text":"Very aggressive grip, due not only to the replaceable grip panels, but the excellent checkering on the front and back of the grip. The finish is beautiful and flawless, and the runner grip pads on the magazines work well with the tasteful magwell. These are 8-round and so are quite slim, and don't need much encouragement to seat quickly and securely. If you like 1911-style pistols, you are bound to appreciate how well this one is finished. The stainless steel slide has a 1913-style rail integrated into it for installation of lights and lasers, while the undercut trigger guard and 25 LPI frontstrap checkering help plant the pistol. Controls are prominent, with an ambidextrous thumb safety, extended magazine release and a magwell to facilitate quick reloads. Finished off with a set of G-10 grips that guide the hand up and into the extended beavertail, the Specialist is topped with a set of tritium sights front and rear, the back sight configured in a stacked dot style.\n\n"
